The Hezbullah were hidding among the civilians, and there were no Israeli civilians fighting Hezbullah, so that's why Israeli deaths were mostly military members.
I guess the thousands of rockets Hezbullah fired into Israli cities was an OK thing to do.
They still havn't released the soldiers they kidnapped or disarmed like they were suppose to do after the cease fire. - Reply to this comment

You are mistaken. It is usually between an overwhelmingly more powerful conventional army, and the armed resistance of a determined population. At any rate, it is distinctly different from the use of 'human shields'.
The use of 'human shields' by a guerilla resistance is usually a useless tactic, since criminal aggressors typically demonstrate no concern for the well-being of innocent civilians, as we have seen in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Viet Nam, etc. - Reply to this comment

I believe that I have already addressed this. I am not religious, and do not support the murder of anyone. Self-defense in the face of a brutal and criminal aggressor, on the other hand, is always justified, as was/is the case with the Lebanese resistance and the Palestinian resistance against the Israelis, and of course the Afghan and Iraqi resistance against the U.S.-led atrocities in those countries. - Reply to this comment

Again, I am not religious, and I do not defend 'terrorists' of any stripe- Islamic, Israeli, U.S., or otherwise. What you have described is called 'urban guerilla warfare' and it is significantly different from the Israeli practice of using 'human shields', where they physically restrain/force innocent civilians into positions, which are between them and harm's way.
What's the difference? 'Urban guerilla warfare' is an effective tactic against an overwhelmingly more powerful conventional army, not specifically intended to jeopardize civilians. 'Human shields' describes the terrorist practice of intentionally physically placing civilians into harm's way, intentionally using them as shields in an effort to hide from danger. This is what the Israelis have routinely done, as proven beyond any shadow of a doubt, before their own Supreme Court. - Reply to this comment

Finally peace loving countries like Israel and the U.S. would quit this war if the terrorist would stop trying to "wipe us off the face of the earth". Wrong again. There are a great many Jewish people that I have tremendous admiration and respect for. Many Jewish people, both inside and outside of Iraq, have courageously opposed Israeli crimes and atrocities. Many IDF "refusenicks" have refused to participate in Israeli atrocities against the people of Palestine and elsewhere. Even in the Israeli war of aggression against the people of Lebanon last summer, we saw Israeli pilots, presumably Jews, intentionally 'missing' targets that they suspected to be civilians.
Many traditional orthodox Jews have openly criticised the very creation of Israel on stolen land. Again, these people have my admiration and support.
