10 years later...
After the last 'big' terrorist attack on U.S. soil, thanks to the new and improved training center (called Iraq). Most Americans who supported the war in Iraq in the beginning will have kicked themselves as the tax increases and government cuts needed to shore up Medicare and Social Security will be a lot worse.
A LOT WORSE...
...because the hundreds of billions spent in Iraq and the hundreds of billions given to the wealthiest Americans in the first years of the 21st Century were proven to be extremely foolhardy and wasteful.
