I don't think the U.S. cares anymore! We are nobodys here, we are just speculating on what might happen. We make no decisions, have no say and have no power over what happens. But if I were in charge, I would get all available my forces into position and attack Iran with everything I had and let the chips fall where they may. Iran had better hope Russian and Chinses support is more than moral because they would need all the support they can get if I were the decider!

Iran is a sovereign nation. And, as such, is not accountable to the US, the UK or the UN.

If the goal is a "nuclear free Middle East," the US & UK's "closest ally" and "only (Nazi/Communist) democracy" in the Middle East should willingly give up her nukes and other WMD's and programs to develop WMD's.

But, until such time, the US, UK & Israel whining about "madmen" in Iran or anywhere else is nonsense.

Just a thought:

If you were Iran and wanted to have the world believe that you were not making nuclear weapons, when indeed you were, what would be the best tactic?

How about taking a nation(s) who no longer believe in their president (or in England's case, their prime minister), trust their president, and declare in their loudest voice that they are making nuclear weapons because you know that the people are going to say..."Yeah right! Bush tried that one already and look where it got us!". So, you declare it in your loudest voice, no one believes you really are because of the dishonesty our government has already shown, and you continue making the weapons.

Here is where the story of the boy who cried wolf too many times would come into play.

I believe Iran is making nuclear weapons and is headlining that fact with the belief that people will believe they are bluffing and then when we attack, at some point in the future, they will turn around and nuke us and everyone will be so surprised and they will say, "We tried to tell you....". What would the gain in lying? Nothing. What would they gain in telling the truth? Everything.

The U.S. maintains the moral high ground and sticks to outdated values like the Geneva Convention while fighting when most of these Terrorist not only ignore the Geneva Convention but don't even know where Geneva is on a map! Any material will protect a person from nuclear fallout including cotton or blended fabrics.

The normal protection provided to US military forces to protect aganist nuclear fallout is the standard issue poncho.

But any material will do, including the "I Hate Bush" t-shirts worn by over 70% of the American people, and 99% of the people around the world.
