Its important to be well balanced and agile! Events should determine our actions and we should not be locked into a course of action. If we need to go to war then we go, if we need to consider peace then we consider peace! Right now until new events occur in either direction we need to pause. Current events dictate we consider peace! - Reply to this comment

- Re: "...no ill will.."
******** Cheney sure seems to have some ill-will towards the Iranians.
According to a recent ABC News report, the Bush regime has been covertly using former (current?) Taliban fighters in Pakistan, to wage terrorist attacks against Iran, since 2005.
ABC's Brian Ross and Christopher Isham report:
"The leader, Regi, claims to have personally executed some of the Iranians.
""He used to fight with the Taliban. He's part drug smuggler, part Taliban, part Sunni activist," said Alexis Debat, a senior fellow on counterterrorism at the Nixon Center and an ABC News consultant who recently met with Pakistani officials and tribal members."

Remember Hitler and Chamberlain?
So much for diplomacy.

If you mean Chamberlain is Ahmadinejad, still, Iran is far more prepaired then England was.
If you mean it the other way around, Poland and Russia were no threat to England.
You are soooooooooooo stooooooooooopid!

Not really, I just want to see where this kind gesture from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad goes and if there are more kind gestures coming! Even in Wrestling when you have an opponent pinned to the mat and he taps the floor for relief you don't continue to choke him! :) - Reply to this comment

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has changed course and is moving in a peaceful direction. Its only fair to see if he continues in that direction. Still speaking on war and attacks after a kind gesture will make him think what is the point in being nice. - Reply to this comment

- Attack Iran, don't attack Iran...
America has no where to go but down, as no doubt, that's exactly where Pelosi went to beg Iran not to lure her nation of primal instinct driven shoppers to their doom.
Yes, America spends more than the whole world combined on defence, but it goes to salaries not equipment that works. - Reply to this comment
- I wish and pray it not happen. Use of military force never solves problems - diplomacy can. But the media drumbeat leads one to believe that scenario.

If you see the naval build-up, I don't think there is any need to use Iraqi soil to attack Iran.

The U.S. does not want to attack Iran! This latest kind gesture from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad freeing the British hostages has earned him some much needed breathing room. Let him recharge himself, gather his thoughts and maybe the world will get lucky again! I sure hope so! - Reply to this comment

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did a great thing! If he also agrees to suspend uraium enrichment the sanctions go away, the U.S. Fleet backs off and all is well. The solution to this crisis is simple and easy and the world will breath easier. I hope peace breaks out all over but the pressure cannot be relaxed until Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad completes what he knows needs to be completed. Ahmadinejad has a PhD and is very smart, he knows what needs to be done. - Reply to this comment
- The Iranians are supplying insurgents with materials to kill both British and American soldiers.
So please forgive me if I don't break down and weep with gratitude Mr. Ahmadinejad. - Reply to this comment
