I noticed that you didn't report that Israel made no such offer to Syria via Ms Pelosi.

Superpatr898 (lieberwussy), Lars008 (singingrick) are paid posters. They aren't here to take part in rational discussion or debate. They don't even deny it.

Please ignore them and anything they post. It only encourages them.

NEWS FLASH: PELOSI CONFRONTS SYRIA ON GAYYS RIGHTS AND FREEDOM IN LEBANON.

Angered at the lack of gayys rights ( punishment is death), Sen. Pelosi from San Francisco, let it be clear, she would not deal with, tolerate or support a Syria that treated minorities, women or GAyyss as second class citizens ! "The killing of gayyss must stop, and stop now !! " the Senator stormed out of her official meeting, and held a peace vigil with gayyys who fled to Isreael for protection."
Each year any and all gayys are executed, after being tortured in Syrian jails, the peace and freedom group proclaimed, from the safe haven of the Hilton in Israel.

We love those hypocrites in the Senate !

Superpatr898, you're a sad sad pathetic man.
Do you even READ what other people say before launching into a cliche ridden and unhinged attack on them?

Clearly not.

The syphilis has been left untreated for far too long and has gone straight to your head.

If you want to blame someone for losing this war, look in the mirror. Assclown.

One who needs to be thrown in the nearest funny farm with a straight jacket around you so you won't hurt anyone! About all people like do is make people like me glad I dropped the Republican Party years ago when they became so venomous and vile! I don't want to wind up the same kind of nut case people like you are!

Bush's infamy will rest as an immoral president responsible for worldwide death, destruction and devastation. On one hand, Bush refuses to acknowledge the wealth of knowledge to be gained from stem-cell research, yet he is apparently comfortable in permitting the children of Dafur to be subjected to rape, mass torture and murder.

There should also be a collective outcry for the impeachment of this president based on his alleged "trade policies" that have virtually destroyed the middle class. Contrary to the rhetoric of Bush's camp, he has placed this country in harms way every single day by refusing to secure our borders and demand "fair" trade policies.

One can only wonder what "war on terror" Bush is fighting when his policies permit anyone free access to this country via the Mexican border, yet this administration persecutes two Border Patrol agents who are now imprisoned based solely on the word of a convicted drug smuggler who was granted immunity.

Pelosi's visit is simply typical of the arrogance the Democcrats have thinking they are above the President and the Executive Branch. Remember, there is a seperation of powers and duties of the Executive and Legislative branches of our government. The Democrats have forgotten that, and are flaunting it because of the political feeding frenzie against the Bush Administration. She and her cohorts are hurting the US in the eyes of the world more than they are helping us.

A One-Woman State Department Or the Pelosi-Luther Billis Method of Foreign Policy.

We already have a State Department, but I suppose we are all well seved if anyone who feel like it can represent us abroad. Let us not stop with just her. Why not have all 435 congresspersons, the 100 senators and a few supreme court justices travel to where ever they like and represent us how they wish.

As Luther Billis from "South Pacific" might say, "It would confuse the heck out of our enemies"

The Pelosi method of foreign policy is not quite as good as the idea Luther Billis had. At least he was trying to work with the government.

If she can do as she feels without regard to the authorities above her, what is to keep those below her from defying her and doing the same?

For poster SherryKay,

You're funny, a real nut case - but gosh, much more right about Pelosi than the brain dead clowns of MoveOn.org, ANSWER and so-called Vets for Appeasement who clock on here.

You right, that mental midget bimbo - and Botox 'ho Pelosi has got to go.

As for Vet or ANTI-US Advisor making the anti-Israeli comments over and over and over again. Lighten up, Adolf Jr. We know you love those Ay-rabs, especially the babykillers and throatslitters, and hate dem Jooz - not to mention America.

Like Hamiltongrad asked - since Pelosi was elected by Gaaaays, I am quite sure she brought up H-omo rights..and rights of Non-Muslims, let alone Lebanese sovereignty.

Oh and she did ask about repatriations to the families of the dead - the families of the Beirut Marines (Ex-lax and Anti-US, take note), and those killed over Lockerbie. She did, didn't she?

Didn't the 'ho bring it up?

Veteran71,

Arrested for disorderly conduct not worthy of the uniform he SUPPOSEDLY put on.

A joke. Like some of the other supposed ex-servicemen here who have a bone to pick with this country, or hate organized religion so much, especially dem Jooz, that they grovel and appease the Islamonazis. Just like Pelosi, 'ho and troop betrayer.

Thank Goodness and Bless them, AJMarine1 and ColonelNY for providing common sense and facts in the face of fascist bs and cowardice. Also - thank the poster who like me DID BRING UP the Al Qaeda tie to Saddam, namely the terror camp at Salman Pak. Of course Veteran71 or MCVet or Ex or whatever it is won't explain why 737s were being blown up there. They don't have the brain matter to do so - only the fecal matter.

NEWS FLASH: CARTER TO PROTEST DESTROYED YMCAS IN THE MIDDLE EAST ! CALLS IT A "DISGRACE".

President Carter, the man of peace, is on his way to Ramallah in the West Bank to hold discussions and a vigil at all 15 charred sites, where YMCA once stood. Outlawed by the Islamic courts of Hamas government, the YMCA were burned to the ground, without much international attention, even though many Christians in the West Bank were killed in their defense. Carter will be speaking out in the ethnic cleansing of Christians from Bethleham, since the Oslo accords went into place just over 10 years ago. "This is worse than South Affica ever was." the former President and Noble Prize Winner stated , choking back tears, as he boarded a plane, filled with peace and freedom activits. "We must help the people there who have have peacefully for now 2 thousand years..".
Senator Pelos also pressed the issues of honor killings of innocent women, the rights of gayyys in Syria, and tolerance for Christians when she went to Muchich this week. "That Syria has imperialistic goals in Lebanon, can not be tolerated." the Senator announced. "The free people of Lebanon will not be under the boot of Syria at any time !" The Democrat from California underlined her party's strong belief in freedom, as outlined by JFK.

Work expands to fill the time available for its completion.

This is true in life generally, and the more difficult a task is, the more it is true.

Give a school student an infinite amount of time to do a difficult assignment, and it won't get done.

Even something as trivial as tax filing needs a binding deadline to make it happen.

That's why the Iraqi government needs a REAL DEADLINE to be ready to control their own nation, with Iraqi troops doing all the fighting.

If Bush (before entering politics) had ever held a real job, he wouldn't need this explained to him.

And he wouldn't be giving the Iraqi government an indefinite amount of time to be ready -- and (Surprise, Surprise !!) they still aren't ready, over three years after the fall of Saddam.

"The mightiest army in the world can't even control a two bit country like Iraq...how would we be able to handle war with Syria, Iran, Pakistan, etc. all at once?" Posted by shingles1 at 02:07 AM : Apr 05, 2007

The war in Iraq (as Bush himself has said) can only be won by Iraqis. We can help, but they have to win it.

If the enemy in Iraq had been Field Marshall Rommel and the German Army, we would have won a long time ago. That's why these World War II analogies (Bush used one again the other day) are so flat out stupid.

This isn't World War II and the liberation of Paris. It's more like Vietnam and the fall of Saigon, where the local South Vietnamese forces had to win it, but failed.

In Iraq the local forces have to win it, or it won't be won. The Iraqi government has to protect its nation's borders from armed infiltration, and suppress the insurgents.

When will Bush get around to explaining why they still can't do that, over three years since Saddam was overthrown ?

Obviously, the Iraqi government needs a DEADLINE to motivate them to get going.

That's who the deadline is for. Not the insurgents. The Iraqi government.

If the government didn't need a deadline, they would have gotten ready by now.

The Iraqi government needs a real deadline. Give them one. Not a nonbinding benchmark. A binding deadline.

Nothing else will work.

"We came in friendship, hope, and determined that the road to Damascus is a road to peace," Pelosi told reporters.

A reference to Paul's conversion on the Road to Damascus.

Very timely, this close to Easter.

It is a crying shame that the Speaker of the House has to take it upon herself to go represent America because our own Secretary of State is so incompetent and inept at everything and the State Department is in Ruin. Secretary Rice could not even be trusted to go to Korea to negotiate with them on their nuclear program dismantling, we sent one of her underlings. Remember Condi Rice was National Security Advisor who blew off the Security Briefing August 2001 that was titled, Bin Laden Planning Attack inside United States Using Passenger Aircraft. She said there was no actionable intelligence. That is what she told Congress! Can anyone in America believe this woman is still in office representing America? Her ineptitude has cost Thousands of American Lives; she should be tried for being stupid and put in Rehab somewhere for her lack of foresight, inaction and betrayal of the American Trust! Americans spoke November 7, 2006 and told the Republicans they wanted out of the War in Iraq, accountability, and a change in Direction in American policy. Nancy Pelosi is representing the Majority of American People and is trying to execute that mandate given her by the American People! Yes, Nancy Pelosi should not have to go to the Middle East but out of Necessity she has to. No one in the Bush Administration is competent enough to do so!

shingles,

we've heard your peace at any price manure plus your goosestepping along with your fellow Islamohitlerite appeaser routine long enough to know you're just another coward and crybaby.

Bet you're also one of these "why didn't we go after bin laden bozos" whom when confronted with that would then say let's get out of Afghanistan we have no business being there.

AJMarine1, thgdriver - and yep, yours truly are right in the approach that you DO USE FORCE to put down this kind of creature that wouldn't stop at anything, including murdering babies, to achieve their evil goals.

But just turn around and spew your hate of Bush or blame the Jooz. Don't confront it. Or write like a midget (duffynight) who trusts an arrogant 'ho (Pelosi) who goes to reward the murderers of the Beirut Barracks, the innocents of Lockerbie, and the Lebanese Christians (never mind the Israelis - they don't count in a bigot's world)over Mr. Bush.

I'd like to see you, Ex-lax, ImprisonBush, RandalBS, Tucker rhymes with F, et. al., try to practice free expression in a world dominated by Islamohitlers. Nah, you wouldn't even try as you would gleefully goosestep along with them.

That brought a sharp attack from Gordon Johndroe, a spokesman for President Bush's National Security Council.

"Unfortunately that road is lined with the victims of Hamas and Hezbollah, the victims of terrorists who cross from Syria into Iraq," he said. "It's unfortunate that she took this unilateral trip which we only see as counterproductive."

Maybe good ole Gordie could ask bushie why he has stopped pursuing Osama Bin Laden as it seems there are 3000 murdered Americans waiting for justice to prevail.

trueprogess,

We try to have wars and not kill anybody; it's a hard thing to do, *** near impossible.

In World War II we were more interested in winning then being politicaly correct.

Hey that is the point, we are allowing Syria and Iran to send in supplies and men to fight us in Iraq. If this were WWII we would not allow that to happen, and we should not now. Get it. What is fair in that ?
