Oh you mean not while we try to stop the muslims jihadist nutjobs from destroying the sovereign and democractic state of Israel? Where the arabs got their azz owned by the Jews in over 4 wars of annihilation?

You obviously missed the a$$ whipping Hezbollah gave Israel last year in Lebanon, eh?

What the Arabs want is justice for the Palestinians. Hardly an unreasonable request, unless you're a Zionist, which precludes that reason be part of your thinking.

The US and Israel are the two largest contributors to the economy of Palestinians. It will require a larger influx to address just this one issue and more than the US and Israel. Arab nations have promised to help for over 14 years in the economic development and so far the amount of help is minimal.

I suspect we'll see a change in that policy, radiob. And soon....

As I said earlier, the Arab League has been hesitant to appear to be opposing the US in regards to the situation. But as recent events have shown, the gloves are off....

This approach was somewhat understandable during the Clinton administration while serious effeorts were being made but since Dubya took the wheel there have been no serious attempts whatsoever and the Arab League's impatience is showing.

Buddy, no group has made their genocidal intentions as clear as the Palestinians-why still get to breath on this earth boggles my mind. Oh wait, its due to 'pali-wood' and the propaganda war that the Palis wage that makes the savage muslim marauders appear as victims. Too bad the West has weak governments in power-but people are getting wiser. A summer war seems imminent-hopefully Israel will not bungle it again and this time properly wipe out their enemies like hezbollah, hamas, islamic jihad, etc.

What's up, badaxmofo? Don't have a stomach for truth?

You went and hid again like a little girl (like all cowards do) when confronted with your BS.

Can't man up and admit you were just blowing it out your a$$ as always, eh?

dallison7 that is one area of breeding for terrorism and I have been researhing it for over a mth. It does not take in the adjoining Arab nations that all have high unemployment (10% or greater) living below poverty (25% or greater)The figures are mirrored in lower proportions in the middle east.Virtually all of the economies are dependent upon natural resources(oil) for their livelyhoods.Notice this excludes the rest of the world.

Now the reality is unemployment amongst Palestinians 50%, living below poverty 60%, needing financial assistance 80% average education is 8.9 years this are not conducive to a lasting peace agreement.

Of course not, but it does fit the definition of apartheid which could be effectively described as a policy of segregation and economic discrimination against the Palestinians by the Israelis.

dallison7 The issue of preventing individuals from becoming terrorist is more complex than that. A look at the Israel-Palestinian crisis, the majority of Israelis and Palestinians want peace. The Harry S Truman Institute and Near East Consulting have done studies that demonstrate a majority on both sides want the Camp David Peace Accords to become a reality. Now the reality is unemployment amongst Palestinians 50%, living below poverty 60%, needing financial assistance 80% average education is 8.9 years this are not conducive to a lasting peace agreement.

You, badaxmofo, are either ignorant or a bald-faced liar.

You will never develop "goodwill" between westerners and muslims, since muslims are a bunch of idiotic hate-mongering bigots-let me quote from Satan's Bible (Quran):

Mr. InForm'd - you missed the point AGAIN...in SHEAR numbers death in Iraq match deaths at home during the normal course of events...doesn't mean I don't care about those that died EITHER WAY...but think what you want, you obviously have ALL the answers...
Posted by badaxmofo at 07:24 PM : Apr 03, 2007

dallison7 Some of that goodwill towards Muslims I was talking about. The UN has really done very little in ending the situation in Darfur. A shocking but real number is that 230,000 people have lost their lives in the last 6 years because of radical Islam. 200,000 in Darfur, 20,000 in Thailand , 3000 US , 7000 the remainder of the world. Policys to prevent the spread of radical Islam have been limited to military action instead of the prevention of individuals from becoming terrorist. 3% of all the funds (last figure I read) are devoted to the prevention of individuals becoming extremist.

EXACTLY!!

What we need is an intelligent leader like Clinton!! Listen to the things he said over the years about the strife and violence in the world!! He says, and I believe, the answer is education!! We MUST help the peoples of the third world lift themselves up and join us!!

Let's not spend one trillion dollars killing people... let's spend half that helping people!!

THIS IS THE ONLY ANSWER!!

"Terrorism will never be won by military action alone it requires the development of goodwill amongst Muslims and non muslims" Posted by radiob

I despise that word 'non-muslim'...it appears as an inferior, afterthought and places 'muslim' in a dominant position. We don't seperate the world into 'christian and non-christian', its an absurdity to do that to anyone else, just one more reason that makes islam a dispicable ideology.

You will never develop "goodwill" between westerners and muslims, since muslims are a bunch of idiotic hate-mongering bigots-let me quote from Satan's Bible (Quran):

Sura (5:51) - "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."

Should Nancy Pelosi be able to pick and choose which parts of the Constitution apply to her? If so, you can't fault Bush for doing the same.
Posted by diverinnl at 01:16 PM : Apr 03, 2007

Don't you remember bush said ( it's just a godd*m piece of paper )

As far as bush is concerned there is no constitution

"Maybe if Clinton had kept those promises, an estimated 3,000 people in New York and Washington, DC. who are now dead would be alive today."

Bin Laden was not PHYSICALLY involved in the plane hijackings and flying them into the WTO towers just as he was never in Iraq.

When he was all but apprehended in Afghanistan Bush refused to pursue and capture him. Instead he followed the original plan and invaded Iraq.

Bush doesn%u2019t want OBL caught because he just might let the cat out of the bag.

Bush backers continually ask: why do you think there hasn%u2019t been another 911 attack? The answer is quite simple; Bush & Cheney, as yet, haven%u2019t needed another one.

radio - does that 3% include rebuilding funds for Iraq and Afghanistan?
Posted by badaxmofo

Actually no it does not, that 3% is counter terrorism funding, to aid in the prevention of individuals from becoming terrorist. Some of it is spent on counter web sites.

which is exactly WHY those that died in Iraq in shear numbers terms are NO more worse than the NORMAL COURSE OF DAILY EVENTS....!
Posted by badaxmofo at 07:15 PM : Apr 03, 2007

Tell their survivors. How callous! They are just numbers to you, not even people!

As if we'd have 3,250 dead, 25,000+ maimed if Dubya hadn't invaded Iraq.

I'm sure your mother would be very proud of your sense of humanity......
