It has shown them that you REAL need WMDs to avoid being invaded. - Reply to this comment

I consider George Bush to be the worst president in US history based on his own demonstrated performance.
I consider George Bush to be a pathological liar based on the fact he is a pathological liar.
Until such time George Bush is thrown out of office, hopefully, with most members of his corrupt GOP led congress going with him, the US will continue to be a target for world-wide disrepect, contempt and hatred. And, justifiably so.
I have no respect for Bush or anyone in his administration, so why would I expect anyone else to do so?
George Bush is the worst president in US history, without exception. - Reply to this comment
- England's attack on Iran is now overdue. Are they waiting for Iran to try the sailors and hang them? The more we play with the muslim world, the more they're going to humiliate us. I vote that when they do attack us again, they first bomb the Hollywood bleeding hearts who defend them. Now THAT would be justice.

- blazer,
tucker rhymes with f is just another of the toilet water, Islamofascist appeasing atheists that constantly crawl on to this site.
He always takes their side, and joins the other bozo fascists and surrender monkeys in their hate-filled tirades against Bush, against America, against Israel, against Jooz and Christians. Now Britain - which is appeasing Iran - is on his list. You can imagine how he'd howl if Blair had cojones and starting nuking Iran.
He prefers living in a Third-World nation but lacks the balls aka courage of his convictions to move there. Maybe, just maybe he has an inkling what sharia would do to his need to rant and rave.
Like a sword cutting across a throat.
He is just another America hater who should be expelled - but we are a Republic that tolerates traitors, sometimes at the risk of our own existence. - Reply to this comment
- It is encouraging to see that peaceful demonstration is allowed in some countries.
If a demonstration, such as the one shown in the wider angle photo, is attempted in here the U.S., it is usually met with violent police repression, including attacks by electrocution and chemical weapons, beatings, etc.
In the U.S., we never really know whether we might be spirited away to a secret prison and tortured to death, by the lackeys of the Bush terror network, if we criticise the regime. - Reply to this comment
- Tucker,
I'm amazed at how quickly you are willing to believe someone else's propoganda. I mean, it's good to maintain objectivity when reading your own goverment and culture's propoganda....but I'm not sure you're maintaining it when examining our government/culture from the other side. Just like you tend to accuse people of believing in this country too much, I haven't seen you ever question a negative opinion or report against this country.
Are you, in fact, just a zealous and unobjective AGAINST this country as you often accuse others of being FOR this country?

- America is a Fascist, Elite controlled Nation.
Our "news" is GOVERNMENT PROPAGANDA.
The Elite and Israel/AIPAC want Iran.
It's that simple.
Iran is NO THREAT TO AMERICA. NONE. ZERO. our Government is the real Threat. - Reply to this comment
- You are forgetting about Denmark; remember those outrageous cartoons and all the bombings and deaths.

My comment came from the numbers cited in this BBC commissioned poll:
http://www.worldpress.org/Americas/2706.cfm
I'm not sure what Denmark or the Hadith has to do with the fact that the poll results indicate the US is more hated than anyone other than Iran and Israel. And, the poll was not restricted to Muslims or the Middle East. - Reply to this comment
- I'm not sure anybody is thinking about this from the so-called diplomatic standpoint. Use your imagination. How many times do you think the US and Soviet Union caught each others spies? How many times do you think we violated the air space of each others' nations or friendly nations? You'd be naive to think that it NEVER happened.
The reason we weren't told is because neither nation wanted to provoke a war. We didn't want either side to work its citizens into a frenzy that would only be appeased by violent action.
So it really doesn't matter IF the sailors were in Iranian water or not. The question is: why has their government thrust that opinion on its people? Why has it enflamed violent and angry thought that has already begun to provoke citizen action against the British consulate?
Why is Iran provoking its own citizens toward a violent confrontation? These have all of the hallmarks of the "pre-game" pep talk given by a coach before a "battle". They are whipped into a frenzy right before you give them a clear target.....the people over THERE! Now go get them!
Can any rational person tell me why else Iran handled it this way instead of quietly taking these people prisoner and negotiating under the table for whatever peaceful conclusion they could have achieved? - Reply to this comment
- They have added another photo with a wider angle. I wonder where and when this other photo was taken?

- At least this photo is slightly more convincing than the one of the 2 angry brown men with "death to America" signs, that CBS was previously presenting, in their effort to demonize the Iranian people. That was truly ridiculous.
We notice that this photo is yet another close-cropped photo, however, with probably no more than a dozen or so attending; still of a size that could be easily staged, and clearly not representative of the Iranian public.
I wouldn't be surprised if this photo originated from a film studio in Langley, VA, rather than Iran.
Bush/Blair are doing everything that they can to provoke Iran into a confrontation, and to condition the US/UK public for the coming war of aggression against Iran. - Reply to this comment

No, they would rather blame everything on Bush and Blair. Don't you remember that prior to 2000 (when Bush stole the election) the whole world loved the United States and we all lived in peace. - Reply to this comment

- It appears the UK is following the US & Israel onto the list of most hated nations.
I never thought I would live to see the day when the US or UK was hated more than third world dictatorships.
