Demands Britain Admit Its Sailors Entered Iranian Waters To Resolve Standoff Over Their Capture
- I am not saying what the Iranians are doing is right or wrong. It all depends on where the sailors actually were. All I am saying is that your analogy is stupid.

-I like your analogy d33pthroat1, and since your nickname ends the same way mine does, well we can get along on many points. tbweb, is unstable with his approach in analyzing events. And I%u2019m not discussing his tendencies or political preferences, but on many occasions he changed his mind about describing one part of the conflicts one time to another.
- tbweb, Nonetheless if what you have described watching the first impact of the planes were true, really, then, really it makes me nut, not to believe this CNN news live-transmission was in the setting of this inside job. How in hell could CNN know about the impact and precise time-location without being informed prior? I myself watched that incident from my home around 9 am, but just saw the second impact, never the first. Have to say it was not CNN. And honestly don%u2019t remember what TV-channel it was (ABC or CBS%u2026). Obviously I knew it was going to be awry, the least we can say. - Reply to this comment

I'm not 100% sure about this, however, the UN Mandate would not cover ships in Iranian territory.
If indeed the Iranians did capture the Brits in Iranian territory, then they are quite entitled to do so - just as any country has the right to do so (and we have done) - just as long as they are in their waters.
The question is - were they?
Only those Brits captured and the Iranians would know for sure.
The Brits wouldn't admit it even if it turns out to be true. - Reply to this comment

I agree with you! Are you surprised? But there is one thing you are leaving out! The British were operating under a U.N. mandate and was authorized to inspect suspect ships. Iran was fully aware of this U.N. mandate and had observed these same Royal Navy sailors inspect other ships. However on this occasion Iran decided the British were doing their inspections in Iranian waters and decided to capture them. If it wasn't for the U.N. mandate and Irans awareness of this U.N. mandate and Britains authorized function you would have a valid argument. But Iran is wrong and Iran knows it! - Reply to this comment

- tbweb, I've noticed your comments in other news stories and I am sorry to say that you are a dumb ***.
The Iranians taking the 15 sailors is NOT AT ALL similar to taking hostage a stranger who pulled into your driveway by mistake.
The UK is hardly a stranger. It has been actively working and speaking against Iran by pushing for sanctions in the UN, publicly speaking against it and threatening dire consequences if Iran doesnt stop Uraniun enrichment. It has also amassed a Navy presence near its borders.
Now, imagine someone in your neighborhood who keeps saying bad things about you to the world. He keeps threatening you with dire consequences unless you stopped eating pasta. You see him pointing guns and arrows in your direction from time to time. If one fine day this gentleman pulls up in your driveway, I am sure you will be concerned enough to take some action.

- radiob,
Isn't this issue, alone, worthy of further investigation?
"WASHINGTON -- The Sept. 11 commission was so frustrated with repeated misstatements by the Pentagon and Federal Aviation Administration about their response to the 2001 terror attacks that it considered an investigation into possible deception..."

Another tantrum?
By the way, what part of "public forum" don't you understand?
Honestly, if you're a teacher, then you should at least type appropriately.

- On 911 I was lying in bed watching CNN. CNN suddenly switched to a "LIVE" feed of a big plane flying too low in New York and was concerned because CNN thought something was wrong with the pilot to be flying that low. As CNN tracked this plane it suddenly turned and disappeared into the World Trade Center. I sat up in bed and was amazed because it looked liked the walls opened up, swallowed that plane and closed, I did wonder why there was no hole in that wall, the wall appeared to return to normal, seriously I thought that was strange. CNN was reporting it was a pilot error but then a second plane did the same thing into the other Tower and I knew right then the U.S. was under attack! I saw it all "LIVE" by chance and luck with my own eyes! That's what I saw that day.

I responded to a public forum - just like you have just done. Do you understand that?
Oh, and I haven't said anything about the Twin Towers in any post - nor have I questioned her on the Twin Towers.
Hope that clears that up for you. :-) - Reply to this comment

- feefree1 I will watch it , I have watched films of this nature and they do not take into consideration the placement of the storage floors, the exploding temperatures of common building materials (concrete, plaster, glass etc.)They also do not take into consideration the snowball effect of all the materials used in buildings, weight distribution, etc.

Ever thought about using it?
Seriously, if you claim to be educated, the least you could do is type a grammatically correct sentence.
Honestly, it's not that hard - even for people like you (with obvious learning difficulties). - Reply to this comment

- radiob,
Re: "feelfree1 Is that the film of the towers that suggest that that they were not taken down by the planes?"
I think that there are several films that address this topic. I found this film to make a persuasive case. I would be interested in any serious flaws that you can identify in this film.
Another that I found interesting and compelling was:
"9/11 Press For Truth"
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5589099104255077250
This film addresses many other interesting aspects of the 9/11 disaster, aside from the building collapses.
I would not recommend another popular film, "Loose Change", because I found it to be a little sloppy. - Reply to this comment

- The U.S. has a lot of Iranians living here doing very well. I hope Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad never plans on retiring and buying a home in the U.S.! Can you picture Ahmadinejad if a stranger makes a mistake and pulls their car into Ahmadinejad's driveway? Ahmadinejad runs out the house with his gun, takes the stranger hostage, holds a press conference and demands an apology on public T.V. from the stranger and if Ahmadinejad is not satisfied he puts the stranger on trial for illegally invading his property! This is exactly what Iran is doing now on a global scale!
