He's one of the most sensible, thoughtful folks posting. But we are in an age when being nice and fair is way off track with what really needs to be done. J-Whitman says: "Do some reading on the region...It would help our troops emensly.. Even make America safer." Fair enough. But what would really make our troops safer, and America safer, and forge America's role as a world leader with high ethical standards, would be to just get out of there. Get out of there now. Now. Time is of the essence. Each month we stay there will be further stain on the history and tradition of our great country. Youth growing up around the world are shaping their views of America based on Bush's behavior. Millions of people are seeing Bush as America. Could anything be worse? Anyone who supports staying in Iraq for even a week is promoting a view totally at odds with the proud tradition of America. What Bush is doing is so out of whack with what we have always stood for in the past. Get out of Iraq, now. Someone on this post please answer this simplest of questions: How can you be a true American and occupy the country of Iraq?

The last time was over 20 some odd years ago,,, For 3 days the captives where paraded in the streets, then released unharmed after issuing a simple appology....... These radical muslims won't face us in a real war since they don't have a chance in hell in winning, which is why they fight like cowards-slaughtering innocents/civilians to advance their demonic cause.
