Venezuelan Leader Heads Protest In Argentina Against President's Latin America Tour
- Yeah, good old Fox News. It's where people living with blinders and ear plugs go to find out how great America and its leaders are. About as "fair and balanced" as a kid with palsy on a balance beam. Most Fox News watchers would be surprised to hear there's a world outside of America that actually has a different opinion. God forbid we listen to anyone else's opinion or try to reason/argue for a point, lest it challenge our feeble minds. Let's revert back to Germany in the late '30s and create a society where everyone thinks alike and worships the same leader. Wouldn't Fox News just love that?! SOOOOOOO much better than publishing an article with a world view to make us THINK about potential flaws in our own government. Think and be free America.

And most of them here are hiding behind the flag and/or the bible. They don't seem to know that waving the bible or the flag doesn't change racist as*sholes into Americans or Christians. They're still racist as*sholes no matter what they carry in their hands. - Reply to this comment
- If I want to see fair and balanced I tune to Fox News.

Real Americans who really love this country hate George W. Bush for all of the damage he's done to it and to us. - Reply to this comment

- MEANWHILE IN BRAZIL:
The president did not see any of the protests that have marked his visit during his hourlong motorcade to the depot. But about a half mile from where he spoke, a large white balloon hung in the sky emblazoned with blue letters that said "Bush Out" in both English and Portuguese. The "s" in Bush was replaced by a swastika.
On Thursday, riot police fired tear gas and beat some protesters with batons after more than 6,000 people held a largely peaceful march through the financial district of Sao Paulo. - Reply to this comment

- The best way to deal with Chavez is energy independence. His lips will stop flapping if there are competing technologies that drive down the price of oil. Brazil has achieved it by converting sugar cane to ethanol. America can do it also. We need national leadership to create strong incentives for green technologies, and disincentives for fossil fuels. California is leading the nation in advancing alternative energy. The federal government has much to do. We need cellulosic ethanol, solar power, wind power, biofuels, hydrogen fusion.
Chavez says "The future belongs to us". If we can go green, he will be wrong. - Reply to this comment
- "Screwball Chavez and his leftist dictatorship is the type of future America can look forward to if 'progressives' are allowed to push their agenda in this country."
And Bush is not a dictator with his pre-emptive wars, and cramming of right-wing religion down people's throats with "faith-based" initiatives and wacked policies on stem cell research that go against 80-90% of the popular opinion? Please. I could go on, for DAYS! Life's good in America if you're rich, straight, and white. The rest of you just can't see through the smoke. Chavez is an illiterate leader prone to throwing tantrums akin to Adolf, but home boy makes some valid points. Our "boy" in the White House isn't all that a box of chocolate. Get over yourself America. - Reply to this comment

- This will no doubt get extensive CBS coverage.
CBS is a biased news agency that pushes stories that support its political agendas while downplaying or ignoring stories that do not serve it's own political agendas.

- "I believe the chief objective of the Bush trip is to try to scrub clean the face of the (U.S.) empire in Latin America. But it's too late," Chavez said of recent Bush pledges of aid. "It seems he's just now discovered that poverty exists in the region."
That's because he was too busy spreading poverty to the people of Iraq by bombing them and destroying their country. - Reply to this comment
- These protests could just as easily happen anywhere else, including any country in europe. Bush is the most feared and hated madman since Adolf Hitler. The world wants him stopped!

I wish I had the time to go. As a patriotic American who loves his country it's my duty to do everything and anything I can to oppose the as*shole Bush and his regime. They're the worst thing to happen to our country and our freedom in our nations history. They're the biggest threat to America worldwide. The Bush regime is infinitely more dangerous to world peace and security then the most heartless dictator or the most evil minded terrorist. - Reply to this comment
- Hugo Chavez is a fat buffoon for sure, but even at that he's infinitely more of a leader of his country then the as*shole Bush is of ours. He's many times over a statesmen and obviously much much much smarter. Give 'em he*ll Hugo!
