My wife and I are planning to retire to Mexico in a few years, but Venezuela is looking more promising everyday. At the very least we'd be away from the fascist Bush and the neo-Nazi's of his ilk. Then again more Americans are waking up to the fact hat his "administration" is not and administration at all, but is a criminal enterprise. The average American might surprise me yet and realize that they've been fu*cked by the republicans and kick them out all of the way. Still if they don't then Caracas is a nice town.

" Imagine how you would feel as a gay man for example with this current climate knowing that people would be so afraid of you that they would want to put amendments in the constitution so you can't get married in Massachussetts or have a civil union in Vermont and have that recognized in your home state. America has gone insane"

----------------------------

I'm curious, can gay people get married in Venezuela and Cuba?

The constitution guarantees my right to practice any religion of my choosing. And if I want to be a Christian, then you will just have to shut your pie hole and out up with it. And hey, man, Christians don't have an edge on killing people. Killing people is a human pasttime. And the American Indian killed plenty of whites and other memebers of rival Indian tribes. So really, give me a break.

As a Christian I am neither homophobic nor dangerous to other people no matter what their personal preference. However I do not subscribe to any program that flies in the face of my religion. If I were of that persuasion (homosexual)I would be the one going to Canada instead of demanding that the rest of this country do so to keep from offending me. Please note that I have in no way attacked you or anyone else with my statements.

What if I tell you christianity is now BANNED in United States. As an atheist I am neither religious-phobic nor dangerous to other people no matter what their personal preference. However I do not subscribe to any program that flies in the face of my belief. If I were of that persuasion (christian)I would be the one going to Canada instead of demanding that the rest of this country do so to keep from offending me. Please note that I have in no way attacked you or anyone else with my statements.

Now what do you feel? This country was not a christian country to start with. The Christians slaughter (indians) and dominate their way to the majority in this country. Perhaps everyone should learn from this. Slaughter the christians so this diseased religion can be put to rest.

Why is Hugo Chavez so popular in his country, while most people around the world and in this country hate Bush??

It is very simple. Chavez speaks the truth about America's sins. All the meddling, coups, support of brutal dictators. Most Americans are clueless about how our nation has bullied others into submission to let our corporate interest exploit the third world. Now our media attempts to demonize Chavez, who is so popular, won his elections by huge margins (unlike Bush), because he cares about his average poor citizens.

Name one thing Bush has done for average hard working families in our country? Trying to kill Social Security doesn't count. Sending middle-class kids off to die in Iraq for his NeoCon vision of regional dominance and control of oil doesn;t count. Neither does massive tax cuts for the Super Wealthy. Nod does an exploding National Debt. Or 'bankruptcy' laws written by the credit card complanies. Or 'drug benefits' where we can't neogitate price with the Pharma Corporations.

I'll take Chavez over this Bush/Cheney *** any day!

Give him he*ll Hugo! Believe me most of the people in America don't want him here either. Any chance you can take a few guys and find a way to convince him to stay down there? We'd even be willing to let you move him as far north as Cuba.

"The future belongs to us. Oh, ho ho! Gringo go home!"
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez

Chavez doesn't realize that his political objectives are the exact reason that his people are coming to the U.S.A. Where does he think the initials O.T.M.(Other Than Mexican) come from. The U.S.A. is fast becoming non-gringo and as long as we stay with our form of Government, people will still want to come here.

Englands Tony blair once said..

"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out."

Divide Latin America and isolate his leftist government???? Say what? Chavez is completely mistaken! George is renting himself out for training drills to foreign countries for their military and riot police. He's trying to earn enough for a new bike.

Chavez is "about knowing how to reach his people", he is a "thorn" in Bush's side because he received 68+% in the last election, Chavez has a radio station which is POPULAR because Chavez KNOWS HOW TO TELL FACTS OR JOKES so that PEOPLE CAN UNDERSTAND - CHAVEZ KNOWS HOW to speak in ENGLISH & SPANISH and is articulate - GW Bush, being a LUDDITE, will probably not get the "rub"...Maybe GW should have realized being a "Frat Boy" wouldn't be a bonus as President!
