Hypnotoad,,
,, Please enough with the media rhetoric --- Bush's own Iraq Study Group came back & told America, "The bad news in our media is under reported" -- Sure, our troops are doing good things, but it's all underminded by the policies & strategy's of this administration.

Maybe President Bush should pony up the money then. It bothers me that they aren't getting all the equipment they need.

Also, I intend to get a Bachelors degree in journalism to become a photojournalist and show the sides many prefer to ignore. Our military isn't entirely ran by a bunch of thugs with $20 digital cameras taking pictures of people in lurid situations and it's a shame those jerks are the ones represented. Typical mass media garbage; the sleaziest and least noble get all the screen time and you bet that fetters opinions; especially when the whole kit'n'kaboodle is to be equated to a handful of wrongdoers. It's high time for a change and time we get all angles. Not just the gloom and doom and wrongdoing ones.

Thank you lars0008. http://www.appealforcourage.org

At times I too wonder about our Administration (some policies sound noble but don't seem to get even remotely properly funded), but Bush and Cheney are still a thousand million times better than those degenerate Islamic animals who are content to kill for the -fun - of it. They think they're going to heaven if they kill a bunch of "infidels", and they think it's okay to exterminate people who don't agree with them ('infidels')... That's not religion. That's barbaric slaughter. Senseless, EVIL, murder. Period.

BTW: I once had a death threat from an Islamic person. That hasn't helped either and Jesus sure as hell didn't go around advocating the extermination of unbelievers.

I pray for our soldiers overseas and while I have no qualms over the media presenting the darker side of war (it's a free press, y'all), I do wish more positive sides and reasons for this conflict were reiterated as well; and more defense spending at home because we do not need those rats taking pot shots at us here.

The taliban didn't even know cheney was there. Just another publicity stunt by the right wing conservative republican nut jobs. Same as bush landing on a aircraft carrier. They are just blowing smoke again.

bluestardad: I'm reading your article. I haven't finished it yet. Its surprisingly good. has a slight liberal tilt to it but otherwise very informative. my favorite quote so far.

The Saudi said that, in his country%u2019s view, it was taking a political risk by joining the U.S. in challenging Iran: Bandar is already seen in the Arab world as being too close to the Bush Administration. %u201CWe have two nightmares,%u201D the former diplomat told me. %u201CFor Iran to acquire the bomb and for the United States to attack Iran. I%u2019d rather the Israelis bomb the Iranians, so we can blame them. If America does it, we will be blamed.%u201D

Sure is great we made sure Afghanistan was secure before we went off to Iraq. So nice to be able to reap the benefits of our intervention, over there, eh, Mr. Cheney? And don't forget, it's thanks to all your hard work there, ***, and your efforts to make sure we had accomplished the mission before moving on to Iraq that you almost got blown up yesterday.

The recently resigned terrorist Czar ask for a demotion to deputy Secretary of State Because he did not want to be tangled up with another Iran Contra style Funding Fiasco that is going on in Lebanon. While you are at it Can the Democratic Leadership really deliver on getting America out of Iraq as America wanted November 7, 2006? We need to ask them or get new Leadership!

GEORGE W BUSH - ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT

- I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal record.
- I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week.
- I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury.
- My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S. History, Enron.
- I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.
- I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S.history.
- I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission.
- I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law.
- I refused to allow inspector's access to U.S. "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention.
- I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period.
- I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.
- In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on our British friends.
- I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice.

IS THIS AN EXAMPLE OF LIBERAL TOLERANCE THAT I'VE HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT??

Why do liberals hate alternative ideas to the point of name-calling ??

The enemies of America, AND the Democrats are both upset at the failure of the assassination attempt on VP Cheney. LOL

....

Why do liberals always side with the socialists and enemies of America ??

examples: Castro, Chi Guerva, Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega, and, oh yes, Gorbachev (aaaaaah, Gorby, whew, I think I need a cigarette) LOL
