Stepthanrush, concerning you thought about the Bible having flaws...

If you believe in God, believe that Jesus is God's only begotten son. Believe what the Bible says. There is nothing in the Bible that would lead you wrong. Don't worry about religion. Religion will not lead you to Heaven. Those who prosecuted Jesus were religious people, but they were not following the will of God. Jesus and the early Christians, those who left their way of life to follow after Christ, tells us that wealth and material things don't matter. I hope that you see that although there are many churches who want to have great buildings, and have large amounts of money in their treasuries, this isn't what Christianity is about. It isn't about material wealth. It is about receiving Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Read the account of the rich man and Lazarus. I am not saying that a rich man can't get to Heaven. I am saying that being more concerned about worldly gain, and not about your spiritual life will lead one to Hell. I sin and come short of the glory of God daily. I am just like any person on the face of this earth, I just have been saved by the grace of God. I have found a peace in my heart that the world can not provide. I know it is real. I hope this will encourage you. If you want to believe, just step out on faith, Jesus will be there to help you.

Everyone will live forever. You will either live eternally in Heaven or Hell. Sorry if you don't believe now, You will believe in time. God will give you a chance. It is up to you to decide what to do with that chance. Hope you allow God to come into your life before it is too late. There is only one God. But the only way to God is through and by the blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross for the remission of all sin. He lived a perfect life without sin, but paid the sin debt for all. He did this for All, not just for the ones who will accept Him. There will be many that do not accept Christ, the Bible speaks of that. But that is the only way to reach Heaven. YOu must decide for yourself. God is gracious and merciful. He is a just God. He is love. There is no wrong in Him. The world will always try to discredit Christianity. It will always fail to do so. The Church will prevail. Not just the Baptist, Pentecostal, Holiness...The true Church. The Church that is made up of the redeemed. No doubt there are people of all beliefs that will not enter into Heaven. Just like those that crucified Jesus. They were religious beings, but they failed to accept Jesus. Religion will not save you. Only by professing your faith in Jesus can you be saved. There will be no second chance when your life is over. Accept God when the spirit bids you...It may be your only chance. Praying for all, Good Day and God Bless.

If so, then, to me, you were rather overwhelming.

Lissa has an interesting perspective on life, so it seems here, and she should find her path the way she wishes.

Good for you!

I am so sick of Christians who say that only Christians can be trusted, forgiving, etc.

I am an anthropologist as well as a Christian, and I too enjoy other cultures and beliefs.

We have a very rich social world, one worth exploring in every which way possible.
