latest poll results show 57% of Americans want U.S. to pursue successful resolution to Iraq. 17% want immediate withdrawl. I guess the LIBS will have to flip again after their flip-flop.

The Brits are "cutting and running". Blair will be gone soon. ANd at least he has the good sense to withdraw the troops HE committed BEFORE he LEAVES OFFICE.

Hey Chimp- I hope you will learn something form this. But I know you are too stupid to learn anything!!!!!!!!

We are hurting moral by leaving those young folks out there fighting for nothing in a war no one other than the oil barons wanted. British troop moral was on the floor before being sent when told there were no body protection and that they had to buy their own boots.

And 70% think the country has been going in the wrong direction. I guess the Brits aren't scared of sending conflicting messages, hurting morale, and all the other political drivel the White House Chimp uses.

RandallDs, you are so right, UK folks are sick to their teeth with these lying parasites and Blair is fully aware that it will not take much more c r a p to push us over the edge. I would like to place on record my application for political asylum to America because I fear living under a clandestine communist regime. This country will, before long be subjected to a civil war, thats why he needs the troops home.

Blair is the worst con man we have ever had the mis-fortune to vote into office, beneath all his spin, smoke and mirrors is a Nu Communist. The man is an insult to British heritage and the nation. You know when he is lying, his bloody lips move. At least you can see through your guy in America but Blair is another can of worms altogether, a very dangerous man. He will s c r e w Bush to save his neck.

OK lets see if I got this one right. bush sends 21500 more troops to Iraq, England starts withdrawing troops, bush and cheney proclaims success in Iraq. I don't think that adds up.

Is it like we got them on the run or last throes.
They never taught me that kind of math in school.

The Brits will be back to help pound the Iranian military and nuclear installations into dust.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!! Whew! I haven't had a laugh like that in a long time. If Blair or anyone that follows him tries to involve GB in another Bush inspired war there'll be a revolution there. The Britsh hate this war as much or more then most Americans. Most Brits and American people still remain friends, but both would like to see Bush and Blair on the gallows for murder.

It's not to late at this point but folks we are rapidly getting to the point where it is truly TO LATE. We have a MAD MAN in charge folks and he will DISTROY our Military before he and that NUT CASE he call's a Vice President will accept that this is a Civil War and we need to Butt out. It's called dignity and respect of the nation. There comes a point when a nation MUST pick a course. We had to do it and Iraq has too. They can become a Democracy like some of those who tried the Great Experiment AFTER we did. But THEY must be willing to fight the Extremist who want THEIR Religious Beliefs to be superior to all others. You see IF they as a people are willing to let EVERY man have his beliefs, if THEY are willing to allow every man the right to his Religious Beliefs in his Home, his Church or his property without having it interferred with they are on their way. If they are will to take that final step and say their Government is NOT going to take the side of ONE citizens beliefs OVER another's, then they'll have a fighting chance. Seperation of Church and State, as American's since the First Congress have defined the provisions of OUR constitution, can NOT be "Given" to a people. That MUST come from the HEART of the PEOPLE. THEY must say it's MY responsibility as a Citizen to keep my beliefs and allow my neighbor the same right. We need to fight that same fight every day of every month of every year. They are no different than we.

It ain't easy. I am the epitome of everthing despised by liberal views. I am the enemy. I don't pay my fair share. Blah. Blah. Blah.

Question. Are you a true Fascist and hate all Liberal's including our founding fathers or are you one of those dime store kind that like to quote Liberal's when the need is right? It is truly hard, for those of us who's life has been to study history, to understand you people. You exist and have what you have because of and in direct results of Liberal's and LIBERAL Idea's, yet you *** them and curse their very being. When the War was over with England, when we were at last free, there was an overriding belief by most that Conservatives, a great number of who had already ran to Canada, should NOT be involved in our Government. Jefferson, Madison the Radically Liberal leaders of this new experiment said NO, they should be included. This made no sense to most since conservatives agreed with you folks today, that common men could not govern themselves. Madison said they were necessary to remind us of how UGLY human's could and would get IF allowed to Superior to others. It's worked very well to as you look back through out history. The overriding truth is that folks like YOU drive home the reality that we are NOT superior and that UNITY is where our power comes from.

Anyone wishing to know what PURE fascism is all about need only to look back a few decades to our South. What happened then in that part of the Country and CONTINUES to happen there today is classified by the vast majority of the Worlds Political Scientist as raw pure Fascism. No one that the "Leaders" call a "Liberal" or in my day a "commie" can be heard there, they can not even have their views listened to because they have been branded. In the dark days of the civil rights movenment many educated young American's saw a political and economic reason to end the most horrific crime against humanity since WW II. They printed up flyers and tried to speak at churchs and civic arena's on the reason we were losing ground to the Russian's and why their actions was giving the nation a black eye throughout the world. They never got the chance because the "Leaders" of the Churchs had branded them as Communist before they could speak, thus the lynching and bombing went on until the nation as a whole passed the Civil Rights Act, making them and their actions a violation of Federal Law.

Look at Blair's statement below:

"The actual reduction in forces will be from the present 7,100 itself down from over 9,000 two years ago and 40,000 at the time of the conflict to roughly 5,500,"

The "TIME" of the conflict, isn%u2019t the "conflict" still going on?

Blair is either as stupid as G.W. Bush, or just as savvy, a manipulator of words.

"The British have done what is really the plan for the country as a whole, which is to transfer security responsibility to the Iraqis as the situation permits."-"the next chapter in Basra's history can be written by Iraqis"-Tony Blair

The UK isn't talking about redeployment of their troops to other parts of Iraq where they could be of use.

THEY WANT OUT!
I wonder why!?

The UK talk about Basra's "history" is smoke screen. They don't want to have anymore UK troops dying in Iraq. It is IGNORANT to try to predict what will be happening there in a years time, but politics ruins the usefulness of intelligence so we'll see.

My apologies to the United Kingdom.

45,000 from a population of 50 million is a lot more, proportionally, than the U.S. sent.

(That still doesn't excuse the tiny horde Mongolia sent, however.)
