Comments on: Putin: U.S. Force "Almost Uncontained"
Says Bush Admininstration Policies Encourage Other Nations To Pursue Nuclear Weapons
- PUTIN has given the IDIOT-IN-THE-WHITE-HOUSE, and the rest of the world as well, a clear and pointed warning.
Will the fools running things in D.C. pay attention? Probably not.
Are there any among the fools who follow the fools that are running thins in D.C. capable of understanding what PUTAN HAS JUST TOLD THEM? Not if "KISSIN'JOE'S" remarks are any indication.
Will the LEADERS OF BOTH PARTIES IN BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS HEED THIS WARNING? Probably not---they are too busy jockeying for political power within the BELTWAY HOG TROUGH to care a *** about the future of this country, let alone the world, so if you think "praying and hoping and trusting in GOD and George W. Bush" like slime-ball-Lieberman and his republican cronies....let me wish you all, "GOOD NITE----AND GOOD LUCK"---'CAUSE YOU SURE AS HELL ARE GONNA NEED BOTH BY THE SUPPER TANKER LOAD! - Reply to this comment
- First:
Don't worry Mr. Putin... our missile defense system is a PIECE OF ***. We could put them in your back yard and they'd never hit the broad side of a flying barn!
Second:
Why doesn't George W just skip the foreplay and launch our nuclear (noo-klee-ir) missiles! It would just help him spread his Neo-Facist Conservatism that much faster!
Oh wait, the rich wouldn't be able to profit from a nuclear holocaust, silly me! - Reply to this comment

- zwaggsy,
Russia and China had contracts with Saddam Hussein to develop Iraq's oil & gas fields when the sanctions were lifted. Which was scheduled to happen upon completion of the inspections.
But, the US & UK, on behalf of ExxonMobil & British Petroleum, could not allow that to happen. "WMD's" were invented and US & UK forces invaded Iraq to gain control of the oil fields. Which deprived Russia & China (Japan, France, et al) of billions of dollars in revenue.
The point of all that is this:
What would you do if someone stole billions of dollars from you?
a. Help them in the effort;
or,
b. Help their opponents.
It is amazing that anyone seriously believes Russia or China will do anything other than finance and support the "terrorists" opposing the murdering thieves who stole billions of dollars from them.
Russia & China (et al) are supporting the "terrorists" in Afghanistan, Iraq and anywhere else US or UK forces are operating. And the US will NEVER in this lifetime defeat them militarily.
Unfortunately, the majority of American voters demonstrated they are morons by re-electing the Bush crime syndicate and a majority GOP congress in 2004. Some people never learn or pay attention. - Reply to this comment
- The primary reason the UN cannot be easily fixed is because the US is the primary financier.
The solution would be to eliminate the "permanent" status of members of the Security Council (US, UK, France, China, Russia).
All members of the Security Council should be elected by the General Assembly every four to six years. With provisions for removal for misconduct.
The primary problem with that suggestion is the current "permanent members" would lose their influence. Which means they would stop participating or contributing to the UN.
Perhaps the UN should be eliminated so the world can devolve into global warfare and the elimination of life on the planet as we know it.
I find it interesting that the majority of people I have ever kwown go out of their way to get along with other people, but when it comes to international affairs, as communities, we are little different than cavemen fighting over scraps of meat or trinkets.
Oh, well. Fortunately, we all end up dead. At the end of the day, none of it really matters. - Reply to this comment

No that's not it! Russia, China and the United States can't go to war with each other and they know it, the world ends if that happens and they all know it! So they battle it out with each other through proxies! It's the proxies like Iran that need the focus! The attention is in the right place! - Reply to this comment
- Russia's been an ever growing threat ever since we went into Iraq! Political opponnents assasinated on foreign soil, energy blackmail, open threats that America's anti nuke missile system is'nt up to the latest soviet missiles! all this from a state that HAS hundreds off nukes + a huge F@?'(*g army & airforce. let's not forget China with it's nukes & anti sat missiles open threats to invade Taiwan.
America's response? Iran is the greatest threat to the world....You yanks have lost the plot you didn't listen to us over 'nam and you didn't listen now! - Reply to this comment

Then like I said the UN is broken and needs to be rebuilt from the ground up to reflect the new world order! The current setup is guaranteed chaos! A strong world body every nation can trust is the only lasting solution to world problems. Something has to give, humans won't be around long with this setup! - Reply to this comment
- tbweb,
The primary reason the Palestinians, or any other nation, including Iran, cannot use the UN to oppose Israel or her policies is because the US routinely vetoes any Security Council resolution that opposes Israel. Or, requires Israel to actually do anything.
The only resolutions that are legally binding are Security Council resolutions. Which means that regardless what the vast majority of the "international community" believes should be done in the Middle East, it cannot be done if the US does not agree.
But, the UK is also controlled by Zionists and likewise has the authority to veto. Which means Israel is immune to internatioal pressure or international law.
That is the primary reason they are continually under attack (Palestinians) and people resort to public rhetoric (Iran) denouncing them.
And, why the US (and UK) are being attacked by anti-Zionist "terrorists" and likewise condemned. Where there is no justice, violence will find a home.
It is very simple to see what is going on, but it is hard to find a solution so long as Israel is considered a protected species and immune from criticism or the law.
In regards to Israel, I find less fault with Israel's opponents than I do with Israel and the US (& UK).
Israel flouts the law (US/UK veto authority) to violate the law (UN Charter, rules). - Reply to this comment

I'm not an Israel supporter! I don't understand why millions of US tax dollars go to Israel every year while the US has so many needs itself. The point I was trying to make was the world body, the UN, created Israel and authorized it to exist. If nations like Iran or those who attacked Israel during the 6 day war or any group like Hamas don't want Israel to exist, they should take it up with the oraganization that created Israel and destroy Israel that way! Attacking Israel directly, ignoring the world body, ignoring iternational law and then getting angry because of Israel's response in the way it defends itself is all wrong! The world has always been against the aggressor, in the case of the aggressors that attack Israel, they lose the debate before it even starts because aggressors are wrong from the start, aggressors don't have a leg to stand on and aggressors have no rights. The aggressor doesn't deserve any nations support. Defensive aggression is not the same thing as illegal offensive aggression!! - Reply to this comment
- tbweb,
"Problems" rarely have a single source or a single solution.
From my viewpoint, I consider the invention of Israel to have been one of the worst decisions made in the 20th Century. It was bad for the reputation of the UN, for world peace and for Jews as a group.
We are still suffering the effects of that bad decision. And those effects are being magnified by those attempting to justify it.
I have no realistic answers for the disputes between Israel and her neighbors. And, for the most part, don't care what any of them do, including nuking each other. But, it is obvious that Israel is the source for most of the violence in the region. And, so long as Israel is allowed to operate without restraint or concessions, the violence will continue.
It appears Palestinians have little else to lose other than a miserable life, so it is hard to imagine how slaughtering them has any practical effect on establishing peace.
But, I do know that shrieking about those who question Israel's policies or the validity of Zionism as foreign policy as "anti-Semites" or "Jew haters" is counterproductive to solving the problems. - Reply to this comment

Okay, fair enough! But the US and Israel must have felt they were not being treated fairly. Even though the UN created and recognized Israel's right to exist, there are UN member nations notibly Iran, calling for Israel's destruction! There were nations ignoring the UN attackinhg Israel. The US and Israel is not the root cause of the problems here! The root cause of the problem needs to be examined, not the after effects of the aggressors losing on the battle field! - Reply to this comment

- The UN is an organization that represents the interests of billions of people. Most of which are competing interests.
Its primary goal is to maintain peace by providing a forum for those competing interests to engage in debate and allow disinterested third parties to offer opinions.
When member states refuse to engage in diplomacy and resort to unilateral actions, that weakens the UN's effectiveness.
Since the UN was invented the two nations most responsible for consistently disregarding the UN and engaging in unilateral military actions, or resorting to violence, have been the US & Israel.
You cannot possibly support a "strong UN" (as it is intended to be) AND the US or Israel's historical behavior.
Until the US & Israel renounce violence and rely on diplomacy, the UN will remain ineffective.
It is hypocrisy (and illogical) in the extreme to denounce the UN as being ineffective while supporting the two nations that violate the UN Charter more often and consistently than any other nations. Which seriously undermines the UN and threatens world peace. - Reply to this comment

I think people should be nice to each other no matter their culture or religion. I think when people have honest differences there should be an organization established (Credible UN) that every nation can trust to help resolve those differences. Being nice to people and doing the right thing is not complicated, every nation should give being nice and thinking win-win a try! It's really not hard. There's too much hate out there! - Reply to this comment
- tbweb,
In other words, your prior comments about a strong UN were really just a bunch of nonsense.
And, what you really meant is that the UN should become a front for Zionists to use as an cover in their quest to dominate the world by force.
Given the fact Zionists are a minority world-wide, despite their prevalence in the US & UK, I seriously doubt the majority of the world is going to support your efforts. - Reply to this comment
