rheola, Iraq did have WMD, and the reason that America knew this was they sold it to them, along with Russia, China etc. The problem was that stupid Bush warned Iraq that they were coming 18 months before they did and gave them time to hide all that they had, now what fool warns the enemy that he is coming???. I have photos here of planes which were dug out of the Iraqi soil..here is part of tha article..

August 6, 2003 NewsMax.com has obtained exclusive photos of a buried Iraqi jet fighter being recovered by U.S. Air Force troops. The Iraqi jet, an advanced Russian MiG-25 Foxbat, was found buried in he sand after an informant tipped off U.S. troops. The MiG was dug out of a massive sand dune near the Al Taqqadum airfield by U.S. Air Force recovery teams.

The MiG was reportedly one of over two dozen Iraqi jets buried in the sand, like hidden treasure, waiting to be recovered at a later date. Contrary to what some in the major media have reported, not all the jets found were from the Gulf War era.
The Russian-made MiG-25 Foxbat being recovered by U.S. Air Force troops in the photos is an advanced reconnaissance version never before seen in the West and is equipped with sophisticated electronic warfare devices.

Yes, and if they actually were rockets and had gone on to kill 20 people, would you be saying 'they should have destroyed the convoy'?

Friendly fire accidents are tragic but they do happen.

Incompetence on the gravest level. The most disturbing fact was how they convinced themselves (as the tape goes on) that the orange on top of the vehicles was in fact rocket launchers. If they were unsure, then finger off the trigger, period. These pilots are accountable, and should be charged.

Further
You appear also to suffer from the paranoia of a world wide conspiracy against tha United States, this surely is in your mind only and that of others akin to you, maybe caused by a percieved guilt complex.

You appear as if you will flog a dead horse no matter what.
WMD'S A LIE FROM START TO FINISH, unless you are totally blind, it is completely obvious that Bush and his cohorts were going into Iraq no matter what the cost.
There was money to be made, a few lives were of no conseqence ,so long as we enriched ourselves.
Have a look at all the winners along the supply chain and note those connected to Bush, Cheney and their cohorts.
This so called friendly fire, an unfortunate situation in war, but in this case as in many others ,particuarly where a third party is involved [Britain] a cover up is to often attempted with eventual embarrassing results.
To many people do not have enough courage to go with their committments, and thereby admit a mistake, tragic or not.

"That is one of the dumbest assertions Bush bootlickers ever came up with."

Even the Bush administration has stopped trying to float that Syria balloon over. But the "Bush Nation" apparently have not gotten the memo yet. Or the one that says to stop saying Saddam planned 9-11.

"The U.S. military had previously refused to release the video to the family of Lance Cpl. Matty Hull."

That's not the complete picture, CBS. We didn't just refuse to release it at first. We denied it even existed.

The US and UK stonewalled on this for three years. You didn't even bother to point that out.

NBC, here I come.

Please spare me the GOP propaganda.

If Iraq had WMD's, they would have used them on US forces. Sending them to Syria would have been really stupid. And, if that is the case, given the assertion there are videotapes and all, why didn't the US invade Syria?

That is one of the dumbest assertions Bush bootlickers ever came up with.

The BBC showed the footage and there was nothing that could be deduced from the pictures other than it was a cockpit.

If there was something within the cockpit that would be a threat to national security if seen, it was not obvious. And, there was something I missed, it could have been pixelated so it was not discernible.

It was a coverup attempt, same as all the other coverups the GOP has been using since Bush ordered the unnecessary invasion of Iraq.

Bush bootlickers are pathetic in their desperation to make excuses. It must he difficult to go through life forever licking someone's boots. Expecially a contemptible, habitual liar such as George Bush.

Or, without a backbone or testicles (if you are a guy, that is).

Lick on, bootlickers, the GOP loves bootlickers who parrot the party line regardless how ridiculous it may be.

%u201CThe British coroner investigating Hull's death put the case on hold last week, saying he could not continue until the government allowed him to view the tape.%u201D

Bulls**t! This coroner either incompetent or working for a hostile intelligence agency.

Tuckerndfw: %u201Cartificial intelligence.%u201D Nice one!

Anyway, Iraq did have WMD%u2019s. Syria now has them. Coalition forces observed Iraqi military vehicles crossing into Syria, including vehicles appropriate for transporting chemical and biological weapon systems. Evidence (which the liberal media declined to report) of biological weapon development was found in Iraq. But this is not the issue here.

The issue is the dead British Lance Corporal. I can tell you that cockpit footage from US planes is classified for good reason. I have worked with these tapes, have seen what they show, and can assure you that there are things potentially very damaging to national security that could be observed or deduced by the active systems shown on those tapes. It is possible for the audio to be recorded separately. Without knowing more about the specific tapes in question, I could not tell you if it would be possible to sanitize the video images. Probably not or they would have done so and released them to the parties that needed to see them. The audio, which apparently HAS been relesed, would seem most relevant to an investigation of this nature, so it should be sufficient.

That is a lie. That conspiracy is not fact. The GOP did not work with exxonmobil to do as you are stating. You are brainwashed, and have a fantasy prone mind. So if being a moron is knowing that that never occured, then yes I am.

The invasion of Iraq was a conspiracy.

That is a fact. The only question is to what extent and who was involved.

In any conspiracy, tracing the money usually leads to the instigator of the conspiracy. In this case, that trail leads to ExxonMobil.

The connections to D. Cheney & George Bush are well known. As are ExxonMobil's massive, unearned profits.

I suppose one could continue to believe George Bush & D. Cheney told all those lies and invented all that phony intelligence because they couldn't sleep at night knowing Omar the Tentmaker couldn't vote for Mohammaed the Goatherder, but that sounds far more ridiculous and implausible than what actually occurred.

The GOP conspired with ExxonMobil (et al) to steal Iraq's oil.

That is precisely where we are, so only a moron would deny that's what occurred.

That is what conspiracies are. Stating facts using assumptions, stereotypes, and with an element of bad guy, good guy. All the while implying things that are not factual....you know the best way to hide a lie? Hide it between two truths....
