This is really rough on Fascist, always is. They can't see past their OWN superiority and when they go into something they always do so thinking the other side is Inferior and it's going to be easy. We have been very lucky in our history that this is the first time we have been in a condition of war with a fascist at the helm. Any fool who would invade another country without FIRST making every effort to prevent it deserves what they get. The problem is, as was the case of Germany in the 30's, those who are NOT responsible for the insanity have to pay as well. After watching and aiding in the distruction of the Soviet Union in Afganistan, to jump to the SAME mess yourself... that's INSANE!

The Bush administration has seriously damaged our national security by his war in Irak.

For decades now US military planning has been directed toward multiple deployment senarios world-wide except one:

LAND WARS IN THE MIDDLE EAST INVOLVING COUNTRIES WITH POPULATIONS OF 20-30 MILLION AND OVER. Iran also has +70 million population.

So where on God's green acre does this dimwit get the idea? And overrule our military's reluctant advice on the need for massive manpower? We can see the results.

Iran? Nuclear weapons? Pakistan has them, India too. But our Bush just signed a nuclear weapons agreement with India. We ALLOW them to use 18 nuclear facilities (out 30 ) to produce weapons grade materials.

But Iran is different....oh, yes,

Iran said they want to push Israel into the sea!

NOT TRUE: THEY SAID THEY WANTED TO PUSH THE ZIONIST REGIME INTO THE SEA !!! (remember Al-Qaeda
was not working with Saddam!)

Bush is making another fatal mistake in engaging Iran. If we count out a land war, which we've shown the world we can't do (damaging prestige), we can only bomb their "nuclear" installations. BUT Iran isn't Al-Qaeda, they have modern missles!
And our fleet is sitting off their shore - do you they 'll just stand by and watch?

God saves US from this so-called commander

America is now forced to confront Iran. The Iranians know that we have spent billions of dollars and our military is spread thin, so they are trying to see how far they can push us. They know that the men who built America are losing power quickly and they know how to exploit political correctness to weaken us. They know that America is afraid to secure its own borders out of fear of being called racists and they know the longer we delay action the weaker we get. They will continue to pick at us unless we act. Americans dont understand that Iraq is unwinnable without a permanent military presence. So either make it a colony or let it collapse. Just take all of our men in Iraq and charge through Iran destroying all their nuclear capabilities and come home.

Another News flash,
Ahmadinejad never said, "wipe Israel off the map." What he did say was basically expressing his future hope that the Zionist regime in Israel would fall, not that Iran was going to physically annex the country and its population. I think there are possibly a few Israelis that share his wish. The acceptance of the phrase seemingly originated with the New York Times, who later had to back away from this false translation. But, this single phrase is just too good for War Mongers to back away from.

What do you want from this administration, facts, truth, evidence? If it's true it's only because he's too incompetent to lie all the time, as seems to be the goal.

This might be something from Robertson's direct-to-God hotline.

"Here is another news flash: The Democrat war protesters have started to take it out on the troops! I guess this is their way of supporting them by spitting on them and calling them names.

Bah! - this is a fake story, that takes an incident between a protester and a counter protester at the march on Saturday, and blows it up into something it's not. Typical standard wingnut operating procedure: Lie about a story, then exaggerate the lie, and then use it to blame ALL Democrats for something that they haven't even done just to make a pathetic partisan point - "See, Democrats are spitting on the troops - they hate the troops!"

Why else would you have to keep posting this over and over again.

Clown.

Could the source on the cursing and spitting on our soldiers be your good buddy, Karl Rove or did it just wiggle out of that fertile mind of yours. Those of us who want them out of little Georgy's and little dickey's sandbox really support them. The bushies want to wave the flag and keep saluting more coffins. I'm surprised that KBR hasn't tried to contract to bring our deceased heroes home for only a million each, maybe even their greed has limits or more likely they haven't thought of it.

Serious business this is, and all Hillary can do (and most Democrats for that matter) is whine about how Bush needs to clean up this inconvenient war for her upcoming presidency.

MoonBeam461 The House of Reps can pass articles of impeachment by a simple majority. They're like an indictment. Then the Senate would sit as a jury. The Chief Justice presides at the impeachment of a pres or v p. It takes a 2/3 vote to convict in the Senate (67 senators). The split now is 51 dems and 49 reps. You can't count on senators from the pres's party to convict without overwhelming evidence. It would accomplish little but further embolden America's enemy in the white house if he weren't removed and it would take time away from the 1st real investigations in years. He'd probably think it meant that God wanted him to do whatever the drug residue in his system could come up with next. There is a possibility that evidence of actions too egregious to ignore may be revealed. Then it might be worth impeachment if the circumstances meant failing to vote to convict would harm enough senators' careers to have a real chance of conviction. Then he'd probably resign or declare himself king. That's a summary. There's tons of information online. I just tried to do the basics with a little about our party garbage (both patries) so you can grasp the realistic problems. Removal by virtue of a no confidence vote sounds really attractive, now.

Help me out here:

How would the US have any idea that the serial numbers on these things trace back to Iran? Does Iran give out a list of the serial numbers of its weapons? Seems odd, no?

I disagree with this story. War with Iran may be closer than any of us want. And the president is not wrong to deal firmly with Iranian agiatators firmly. Strength and honor are teh only things Iran seems to ahve a firm graps of.

The internal situatiion in Iran is politically complex, but it appears that that hardline idealogues who use Islam to wield a kind of arbirtary aggresive power have enough of the upper hand to enforce foreign policy, inlcuding the killing of American soldiers.

There is evidence that Iran is pursuing a program to put satellites into space wtih ballistic missiles. These could be later converted to ICBMs and recon sats could also be put into orbit---maybe in jsut a few years.

If there is a war thoguh, the president shoudl go to Congress and ask for a formal declaration. He will need all the help he cna get as hes shown himself to be a very poor commander-in-chief.

Nonsense. Everyone knows that our troops are also victims of the Bush crusaders.
