The Bu$h 'war on terror' is only a thinly-veiled attempt at being opportunistic world cops.

The chances of you even meeting a 'terrorist' in your lifetime is nil, and the jury is still out on the 9/11 atrocity being planned by terrorists instead of rogue U.S. politicians.

Bu$h, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Halliburton could be the real terrorists of this planet.

In the first paragraph the article says the AC-130 is not an "attack helicopter," and later it says "helicopter gunships" made an attack. But then it says that the AC-130 is "a four engine turboprop-driven aircraft," which is not a helicopter. Be advised, CBS/AP, not all gunships are helicopters.

The aircraft flew from Djibouti, which, any map will show, is way too far from southern Somalia for any helicopter to fly.

Some of this text was also read on CBS TV news.

Apparently as long as we call any individual a "Muslim extremist with ties to al-Qaeda" we have justification to attack at will? I don't know what is more saddening: the fact that this is the case, or that the American people continue to indirectly support these policies via their silence.

How would we react if someone overthrew the current administration and propped up one which they agree with? would Bush, Cheney and the rest of America still consider those people to be "liberating" forces? Would we as Americans not stand and fight back with any means available? Does that make us terrorists and insurgents, or patriots?

Sometimes, based on Bush, Inc.'s definition of Patriotism, I am not entirely sure.

To loosely quote modern political activist, world renowned linguist and utter genius Noam Chomsky, "We must be willing to apply the same standards to ourselves as we enforce upon others."
