Israel 'Regrets' Civilian Deaths, Hamas Ends Truce, Calls For Revenge Attacks Against U.S.
- First of all , all these people who think that they know whats going on over there in Isreal you have no idea. The media we hear is all bull. Telling people that the Palestinian people start it by launching rockets. Saying that they hide behind there civilians. You people dont see the real picture, they civilians are the fighters there fighting for there own freedom. Here's a example that will make you think about how they feel. What if the Russians or whatever country you want came and tried to invade the US? Every american im not saying citizens cause the people that arent legal here would fight to. Why, because it doesnt matter about the politics when someone is trying to take your property and trying to kill your neighbors you would do whatever possible to fight. For whoever disagrees with me is a closed minded idiot. Also another factor of why its getting worse an Isreal is that the country is runned by Zionist Jews, which is the case of radical judiasm. the people aren't aloud to speak to the isreali soldiers without getting attacked or verbally abused. What kind of life do we world do we live in where we see all these terrible things happening to other countries but we do nothing about it. So all of you people that think radical Islam is the problem how gret was the holy city when the Muslims ruled everyone was at peae, everyone had a freedom to practice religion.

- To Grazing Goat: I don%u2019t wish to offend, though I often wonder how it is that a culture that is primarily based on animal husbandry can make the move toward a technological society. I have often pondered how two cultures, one stationed firmly in the fourteenth century, and the other moving beyond the twentieth century, can share any commonality. One culture where the median educational level of the population is barely at the Elementary School level, and the other with a level well above high school. How can there be any commonality. And all the Democracies of the world are ONLY as good as the educational level of the electorate; or their votes become more of a popularity contest. I don%u2019t believe much of what Hamas has to offer the Palestinian people, because years prior they were blowing up public transit in Israel, massacre after massacre of civilians. Hence, the boarders were tightened, and a barrier was established to prevent more murder by suicide. I would not suggest that America or any other country give more financial aid to promote more senseless acts of self-immolation%u2014for Palestinians fancy themselves as martyrs in the name of religion, instead of living acts of goodness in the name of faith and brotherly love. What future is there in this?

- To all the poor people of Palestine, who live in a state of constant poverty; using every bit of money to buy weapons instead of food, focused entirely on your desire to hate and commit acts that provoke other countries. No wonder the Arab countries don%u2019t respond to your whining, you create your own problems and only the Persian countries will lift a finger to help you with more bombs and ammunition. Even to the extent that you support the deaths of your own Palestinian brothers and sisters, by using them as shields for your pathetic launching of more violent acts, and afterward bemoan how badly you are perceived by the world . Peace in not part and parcel of your non-Muslim practices, since you send people strapped with bombs to kill themselves and murder (yes MURDER) any bystanders. If only you would stop your futile ways.

- Thanks titocordero, you seem to be a wise person.
Where can ONE MILLION AND HALF (1,5000,000) people hide on a spot of 15 miles long and 3 miles wide to shelter from Barabric Israeli Bombardment. What heroic acts are you expecting them to do to please your heroic fantasy? Do you know what is Gaza strip, how many people are living there, atop one another?. Without freedom of movement, not allowed to go out, of their strip. Not allowed to visit their relatives in the other part of Palestinian-controlled (West-Bank).
Do you know the misery they live in?. Do you know that a soldier from the IDF expressed disgust about the conditions those people (Paletinians) are living in. All that because the G.Walking-LiarBush has decided he didn't like the Hamas, newly DEMOCRATICALLY elected government, and decided to cut its throat by cutting the much needed help its morally obliged help, toward the Palestinians, as per Oslo accords and the peace road map...

- Since Hamas has now declared war against the US we should return the favor. We should answer thier call with a secret war one in which any known hamas member simply disappears never to be seen again. We should also let the Iranians Know they will be held responible for any loss of american life at the hands of hamas. As for Israel They have as much right to be there as the palestinans. How many Israelis were born in Israel? The arabs are mad because the Jews were able to take it back. No one had ever done that before not even Richard the Lion Heart during the crusades of the 11th century.

- I find it interesting that NOW hamas says that Israel should not exist as opposed to their charter which has been around for a while (i have no idea how long) which says the same thing.
NOW they are stopping the truce. what truce I was under the impression that they have been firing rockets all along. Unless just like everything else in Hamas's world they just dont make any sense - Reply to this comment
- My comment to you grazinggoat is that you're just an idiot. Luckily you live in a country where idiots like can express themselves. But so can I.

- To consciousness the Palestinians and the Isralis are not cousins but brother. Ishmael and Issac were brothers from different mothers.
I feel that there would not be so many inocent deaths on the Palestinian side if these cowards would stop involving their civilian population in their fight against Israel by hiding behind them everytime they launch a strike against Israel. I feel that the real killers and freedom haters is HAmas and everyone who supports their cause. It seems to me that for all these Islamic fanatics and their professed religion and love for Allah they seem to be motivated by hate rather than love. Even towrds their own people. Do they think that they can just keep striking at Israel and then hide behind the civilian population and that Isarael won't go after them. That's crazy. I'm sure that killing women and children is not an Israeli objective and they regret innocent lives being lost while on the other hand these terrorist target civilians and celebrate all life lost.... - Reply to this comment

Creator's Eyes are seeing what is going on. The defenders and champions of Human rights are blinded by this Savage State. What is left for human dignity in this spot of GodLand? - Reply to this comment
- In reply to Coresoft: Regarding US support in this conflict, Israel gets about $5 billion per year from the US. We don't ask them to account for their use of our tax dollars, but no doubt some of our money pays for offensives such as are described above. No support of any kind, from any quarter, has been allowed to reach the besieged areas of Palestine for quite some time, and they are quite simply starving, with many deaths for lack of medical care. UNICEF does what it can to provide clean water to Palestinian villages whose water supplies have been destroyed, but that help is limited. I agree with you that we should not support aggression on either side, but it is far, far from an equal contest, and it is highly apparent which side has always taken the beating. Many Arab countries consider that we are one with Israel. Our government cannot change that widely held perception because, from the standpoint of our financial support for Israel, it is absolutely true.

- They are nothing but cowards hiding behind inicent people to strike out at ISRAEL. ISRAEL wants to be left alone . The others want to destroy them . ISRAEL has every right to defend its self .If HAMAS`S people choose to use innocent people as a shield , it`s thier loss and not ISRAEL`S fault that they are cowards .

- Go to youtube.com and search for Pallywood it is a documentry on how the palestinians stage and exagerate israeli attacks. It is an excellant peice of reporting. I think we should nuke both of them. They can't fight if thier all dead.

- I don't think US should support or get involved with either side. This should be resolved by UN, not US.

- I wrote this poem to describe the unimaginable sadness on either side of this sickening conflict!
________________________________________________
The Never Ending Circle of Violence
I saw a Palestinian
Loving his wife
Hugging his daughter
Playing with his son
Words of love
Hands that caress
A home filled with peace and love
I saw an Israeli
Holding his wife
Tenderly kissing his little girl goodnight
Playing with his son
Words that soothe
Hands that caress
A home filled with peace and love
I saw a Palestinian and an Israeli
Coming towards each other, apart
Words of love become slurs of insult and hate
Lips that kissed now spew venom and rage
Hands that a moment before caressed
Become weapons of destruction and death
I saw and wept
War
I saw a Palestinian and an Israeli, still %u2026.
Homes broken
Lives shattered
Children crying
People dying
No father
No mother
No laughing
No hugging
No caressing
No playing
No loving
No peace
No love
Silence crying out amongst the ruins
I dreamed and I saw
A Palestinian and Israeli
Living besides each other
Children playing
Laughing, hugging, sharing
Hope?
I awoke
I saw a %u2026. - Reply to this comment
- The Palestinians and Israelis are cousins that have been fighting for almost 2000 years. This is a family feud that will not stop until they both come to their senses and sit down to actually talk. I.E. Ireland and the IRA. They have been fighting for so long they can't really remember why they are fighting. The parents and religious leaders tell their children that people who are not like us or believe the way we believe must be cleansed from their earth or they will destroy us.
If there was only a way to sit them all down and tell them to stop acting like little children fighting over a toy, we would have a better world. - Reply to this comment
- I by no means support Hamas or the senseless destruction that they condone. However, episodes such as this make me question things. If a similar situation occured like this inside Tel-Aviv (rockets being fired from a rooftop) would the Israeli army be so indescriminent as to fire artillery shells as a response. Logic begs the question whether these type of retaliatory "accidents" occur because of distinct bias against predominately Palestianian populated areas.
