I guess Obama's victory speech was a little too early. How sad he has in another war in an Arab country. Here we have a guy who campaigns against these kind of wars, and he turns right around and get into another war. Just another typical politican, how sad.
And the gullible masses continue to support this president and anything he says or does because they are too blind to see what is going on. If the president were a Republican and tried doing what this president has done, the media and the masses would be frothing at their collective yaps and demanding his impeachment.
So where is the majority of Libyan citizens standing on this? Taking to the streets? Putting their lives on the line with massive public demonstrations and marches?....apparently not.
This is looking like a minority effort to overthrow the government of Libya that didn't take, underwritten by France, Italy, and Great Britain.
A 'no-fly zone' gets sold to the UN and then Libya quits flying, so the 'no fly zone' morphs into a CAS mission and the rebels start losing ground anyway......what a mess!
Qaddfari is a dictator and one that will kill to stay in power. Like Assad of Syria. Only thing Qaddafi needs are some shoulder launch surface to air missile units and to knock down 2-3 NATO planes to create his own no fly zone against NATO. Obama did not listen to his military people but to civilian in the State Dept. Qaddafi seems to have a lager military force than the State dept. thought before launching this glorious little war. He can obtain supplies from the south along with men. If he is defeated what will take his place? A Muslim Brotherhood party or worst Al Qeada. If Egypt goes to M.B. then maybe a start of a Caliphate? If it is by popular support then is it that the majority of people in this area which are Muslim by faith wish to have a theocracy in which Sharia Law is their law and jihad is the way to expand it. Trust me they will want to expand their territory that is part of our basic instincts as humans. Into Algeria, Morocco, Spain, rest of Europe. They talk about the Crusades but they have also attempted to conquer Europe once through Spain(stopped in France) and again through the Balkans(stopped at the gates of Vienna).
Does anyone else agree that: 1/ The U.S. leadership does not consider all options when involving itself in regional conflicts, and, 2/ There are ALWAYS cynical motives, be they oil, regional power, prestige, tactical advantage, saving face, whatever?

I guess Barack will resort to massacres of innocent Libyans serving as human shields. How many more Libyans, Afghanis, and Pakistanis will perish against Obama's missiles and 500 pound bombs?

This doesn't seem to be a no-fly zone enforcement to me.It's look more like air support for al qaeda and Hezbollah to overthrow the leader of a sovereign nation.
