If the Arab League wants a No-fly zone, why don't they use their own planes. Surely the USA and European countries have sold them enough planes to get the job done. Why does the USA have to be the one to kick butt all the time.

But on the other hand, I say should they request our jet fighters, AWACS, pilots, etc. Then have them pay for our services for once. I say to the tune of, oh say 1.4 trillion U.S green backs. That's fine! Let the Arab League countries put up the military personnel/equipement to enforce the no fly zone. After all of the money that we have given Jordan/Saudi let them now put their own military to the test.
To the Arab league I ask "where have you been?". All gas stations are now self service including purchasing oil. So if you want a no fly zone in your area, DO IT YOURSELF. The days of full service gas and oil are long gone. Also anyone else notice those same countries put the world in a depression by holding back oil output so they could raise prices, and now they want the world to get further in debt to save their rear ends? So we are supposed to reward them for screwing us over? No way.

arab league should send its own troops to libya. why should the west have their troops in harms way while the arab league sits safely at home manipulating foreign armies to do their bidding. the arab league can get off their sorry behind and choose sides in libya and send their troops accordingly. bunch of wusses, the arab league.
Because they control the oil and therefore can demand our military take the brunt of any operations due to the fact that otherwise they can reduce oil production thereby starting a new economic problem. But of course they will not admit a cut in production--it will be some problem with technology or an accident at a site or an attack by terrorists that caused the problem or all 3 in different countries all within a 2 week span or so--therefore it looks good on paper and in the press! so--now you have one or many answers as to why? the U.N.
