All your ranting about blacks makes me realize why you "suddenly" got interested in politics after the last election, as you said on the O'Donnell article, Nmmrng.

How about this as a different perspective slappy-jones: I believe many blacks got into the previous election because (despite popular belief of ACORN-bashing people), that there was a person who for WHATEVER reason, was going to make a positive change in their destitute lives. Don't get me wrong - and try to be OBJECTIVE and put yourself in someone else's shoes - but I personally believe that the change mantra really appealed to not just Black, but all colors in this country! If you really play on a fair field, how would you FEEL if all your life, there was nothing in common with you with the proposed leader that represents you? I've first hand seen alot in 50+ years, and RESPECT this country. IMHO. Much respect to you!

He is a liar and will be found out in the end. An exaggerated denial that doesn't include the words "I did not do this" is at best a lie.

This, unfortunately, is what is known as a human trait called, "Reaction Formatiom." You don't learn about it in grade school, but you learn it in your first psychology course in college. A person tries to hide their anxiety created by a fear they are behaving in a socially unacceptable manner by self-exagerating an opposite behavior. Basically, the stronger the opposing behavior, the greater the feared behavior is that is being masked.

This ia a very confusing time for the congregation. God is not the author of confusion. The best thing the Bishop could have done if he plans to fight the allegations, is not drag a church with him through the battle. If he is guilty or innocent, why not step down (even temporarily) so as not to be a distraction to evangalism during the process..... Then go throw any of your five stones and fight your fight.

Ahhh the God/Jesus salesmen--if they dress better than you, drive a better car than you and live in a better house than you---they don't need your money.

Yet so many people "pay to pray" and the older ones are busy "studying for the final exam" and think money is the way to heaven and someone can pray them into it.

To quote Shakespere " Lord what fools these mortals be"!

This man has deceived his followers with his deceitful soul. He has the gall to stand in front of the whole world spreading his deceitful lies. Is he conning the world in God?s name in a false sermon that he has spun to make his points or to gain power? What is his game. He is surely playing one. Are his accusers part of his tale? Is he playing all of his in his false wisdom? Has he set the world up to capture our attention?
Has he created this painful situation has a ploy to teach a perverted lesson from the deceit of all of us, including his victums? If he did what he is accused of that would make him one of the most deceitful men on earth? If he didn?t do it, but is playing us with a twisted sermon, based on false accusation made as part of the ploy then he has played us all.
Will his accuser?s come forward and say they we?re part of a ploy to prove a point? That?s all I can think of? How could it be anything else? What man would call homosexuals evil and commit the same act and then appear in front of his church as a meek honest man? He has to be either completely evil or the mastermind of a sermon to the world on the truth can be manipulated to be what it isn?t? Is this a game upon us all? Is he trying the system hoping to be arrested and persecuted till his cohorts come forward and say it was all a ruse for a religious purpose? Just a sermon, a lesson to us all?
Only the his accuser?s and Eddie Long know the truth and it will be known soon.

I hear ya! Be careful, This may very well be a setup. This could explode into some kind of "come out of the closet" movement. The Bible tells us that "As it was in the days of Sodom, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the LORD." which means homosexuality WILL be accepted and practiced through out. I do not trust Eddie Long, never have. Their are way too many "set-ups" in the churches. They are "2nd Peter" preachers, sensual, plastic wind bags, uses the ignorant as merchandise. Anyone who really read the bible and study, will not and can not be deceived by these false preachers. I am so glad that GOD judges the HEART of man, not his outward appearance. There is a group of those "in the closet" "think they are hiding" religious bodybuilding homosexuals in the Atlanta area. Remember! there is a difference between being religious and being a christian, even when that religion is Christianity! The catholic priest who sodomize children come to mind.

Are you serious? You have to see the four accusers? As if seeing them makes them somehow more credible! Bottom line, pastors are supposed to be a mix of mentor, humble preacher, counselor. Long is short in all of these areas. He doesn't have a humble bone in his diamond and gold draped, steroid infused body. He uses 25 thousand people every week. He is gay. In denial. And a hypocrite.

tsgili for as long as people are too lazy to read the bible by themselves these cons will always find the right interpretation of the text to make money of the ignorant. If one wants to give because feels that God blessed them they should look around in their own family and help someone who is trying hard to make ends meet. But people think that their offer is better received by God if they load an already overloaded pastor. Even such simple logic is taken away from people by these religious leaders who live and behave like kings of evil not like Jesus.
