Arpaio assuming immigration enforcement duties will be in violation of the Federal Law, as he will be acting beyond the scope of his state constitutional duties to enforce state law. In short, Arpaio may be jumping into the violation of existing civil rights statutes as well as 5th, 8th, and 14th Amendment issues. This Arpaio reminds of the old movie "Billy Jack" where a similar hateful, racist sheriff repeatedly abused the native-American population in Arizona.
As a resident of any state in the U.S.A., I am required to present proof of residency to get a hunting license, a fishing license, (in the state of Tenn.) buying beer or alcohol, checking into a medical facility, applying for any job (SSN), applying for a credit card, opening a checking or savings account, ect.

The goal should be to provide and maintain a level playing field for all in every aspect of life, so those with greater intelligence, motovation, resources etc. always come out on top. It looks as though the middle class in this country just took a severe blow today. If we let these illegals into this country our middle class is likely to erode away. That is Big Business' plan of action: turn America into another third world country. The capitalists have no choice, the middle class is too expensive anyway, so eliminate it!
