Drill baby drill anyone?

Anyone?

Yes Sue.........99% of the drilling rigs operate without incident......your Marxist and his regime permitted the Horizon and gave the rig an exceptional review of their operations!

You, me and the rest of america needs the oil for commerce to continue to pull itself out of Obama's crapper!!

Got news for you. It's getting around quick. It turns out no matter how much we drill baby drill the oil belongs to the "world" market. We the US have to buy the oil back from the global corporations who drill and pump it off our coast. The drill here drill now nut cases were just helping the republicans sign over more of our coast to the global corporations.

What amazes me is the lack of concern among everyday people. It barely makes the local evening news any more. And the oil is gushing out every day. It is like they are in a stupor.

The "so called speech" Obama made..he was talking about legislation and bills and folks?WE HAVE FREAKING GUSHER OF OIL THAT THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO STOP. What is wrong with these people???.... God have mercy on us.

Thought this interesting. REV 8, KJV And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but there's an article on the web wondering if a good hurricane would help clean up the oil spill. I dunno, but maybe the thinking is it would stir up Gulf water a whole lot, and blow some of the mess over a wide inland area - not that inland residents want any of it, but there's nothing anyone can do to stop a hurricane. A much-ridiculed "old saw" about pollutants runs "the solution to pollution is dilution." Don't hit me - I didn't make that up, just remembered it.

The entire Gulf is going to become a "dead zone". That is the price we are going to pay, for oil from the gulf.

Is it really worth it?

We no longer have control of our shores. The politicians have signed them over to global corporate tax havens. No matter how much we drilled baby drilled we would have to buy the oil back from the "world" market.

We the US have to buy the oil back from the "world" market at whatever the going price is at the time. Our shores have been signed over to global corporate island tax havens. Any politicians that were involved with this should have been charged with treason. The main stream media seems more concerned with beating up BP or the latest Joran Van der Sloot nonsense , than covering the scope of this disaster.

And what really bothers me is how little people actually care or understand about this. Even people who live on the gulf coast!! Most people have their heads in the sand and don't want to believe anything except what they hear on CNN or FOX.

Thankfully, we have the internet, so we can do our research and draw our own conclusions................

They are beginning to sound like the Tobacco lobby..."We don't see anything provably wrong." I'm not sure how you'd detect long term changes in just 50 days. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize millions of cubic feet of methane being released into the environment daily is not good at all. BP continues to low ball every facet of the problem, only to shrug off more realistic assessments, with an "oops, sorry."
