Command and compassion? Yeah right! What we have from Obama is arrogance, disdain, corruption, and incompetence!!! What did he do this week while the oil was washing ashore? He went to PA and blamed the Repubulicans for his problems, and sent Eric Holder to launch a criminal investigation before the hole is even plugged! Eric Holder, of NYC circus trial fame, who should be launching an idependent investigation of the White House job offers at this point!!!

Why doesn't he fire Ken Salazar? He is the one who should be held responsible. He pocketed Millions of Dollars from BP and exempted them from environmental impact studies.
President Obama has a lot of enemies. What if his opponents created this disaster in order to jeopardize his presidencey?
They should cover both Salazar and the BP CEO with the oil and let them suffer and die like all the animals that suffer so much from this.-

As a matter of fact, Indy, I'm pretty sure there is a Nobel Prize for Sheer Lunacy. Or, maybe it's a Pulitzer.

I believe your correct Vicar........it's my understanding the Pulitzer is for fictional story of the year!

So Obama tells Larry King he is not satisfied at BP response and pace?

I'll bet the President of BP didn't take a vacation over memorial day, or play any rounds of golf, or have a rock concert at his house Wed. night. Obama loves to throw stones at others but he is total incompetent. The only thing he can do is sit on the sidelines and grip, he never shows he has the ability to lead...typical community organizer.

I thought Obama act more rationaly. But he is a lawyer and as many non-technical professinals think Reagan's service economy is the one that make miracles. In fact inability to tackle the spill is longterm outcome of service economy - people trying to make money by financial gimmicks rather than by true innovations. Reagan himself lead the way by droping Carter's project on new energy development in 1980 and encouraging consumerism like making armed cars like SUVs

The ONLY reason this is happening is because his own party is coming down on him for his lack of emotions in this crisis. So Obama had his advisers come up with a word that the public would respond to and we now have "furious". However, to little to late. America has his suc$fest with McCartney in a time of crisis etched in their minds and no spin is going to erase it...........

"Furious" Obama Heading to Gulf for Spill Update

IF HE'S FURIOUS, IT'S BECAUSE THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HE CAN DO ABOUT IT.
(ALTHOUGH, IF YOU LISTEN TO HIS "THIS IS THE DAY" SPEECH, I IMAGINE THERE WERE SOME THAT FIGURED HE JUST HAD TO SPEAK THE WORD, AND THE OIL WOULD STOP)

daffy64 - give me a break. Yes president, earned money from books etc, nobel peace prize a joke-he had not accomplished anything worthy of the prize. He was a senator for how long? Ran what business before politics? Has an MBA in what? Yeah, he's slick, as slick as they come. He's smart and sly, it got him the presidency. Remember what Jeremiah Wright his former pastor said, Obama will say and do anything to get the presidency.
