This is so stupid - who cares if these two girls go to their prom. Who will feel uncomfortable? Obviously, they already are and have been lesbian before the prom, so why start a big deal about it? They seem to be able to attend the school. This is year 2010 not 1210, but maybe the clocks run differently in Mississippi.

don't understand. if a girl is a lesbian why does she dress like a male? shouldn't she obtain a complete sex change? same question about gay males, if one is the girl why not change sex completely? why do straight, heterosexual, males enjoy seeing or viewing females engaged in sexual activity but not males? do females enjoy seeing or viewing males in sexual activity? there are so many categories of sexual activity outside of heterosexual that it's very confusing. then there is bisexual activity some of which are closeted, even married with children. trying to understand them all but it is so very difficult.

longtree-2009 if you're serious, try to find a PFLAG group, a group of friends and family of the GLBT community who have and had the same questions you do. They arent as complicated as you may think and welcome to well intentioned questions.

In fact, they do. A study proved that while the vast majority of women deny being aroused by this outright, the vast majority of that majority were lying.

If the couple in question had any devious ideas, they would have arranged to pair with a male gay couple and then switched partners at the dance. Instead, they chose to take the honest route and everyone is being punished for their integrity. If these were my kids, I would organize a private prom and invite the school to osculate my orifice.

Had I been an affected student, I would have told the school to obey the biblical imperative to "Go forth and multiply thyself" and taken a GED somewhere else.

Hosheen - When you finally get your mind off seeing "religion" in everything you may be able to sleep at night. I had to reread the article to see that there were no references about religion or God. It was the school district requirement, not religion. Please get some theropy.
