KJS726: "Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything." -Genesis 9:3. God's creatures were put on this earth for us to eat and plants are living things also so you are a hypocrite and an idiot. I live in NM and I'd rather livestock survive than coyotes who eat them because they are over populated and starving to death to the point where they are even attacking people. I think I value a human life more than a nuisance animal.

"Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death," Cornelius reading the Sacred Scrolls from PLANET OF THE APES.

This is one thing I hate about hunting. Hunting for sport. It sickens me that anyone can enjoy killing anything, wolf or coyote or whatever. I think people are sick for wanting to kill living things.

Sickofwhiners says: "We have removed all the natural predators so now we must be the predators." That's REALLY odd. It sounds like hunters must step in and maul livestock.

Livestock are already taken out by humans. Ever seen a slaughterhouse?

If a certain animal specie, or a member of a certain animal specie, including human animals, become a threat to the population then hunt it down and kill it using any means at one's disposal. Otherwise, if you're hunting for sport, your weapon should be limited to a spear.

Has your outside cat disappeared? If it has it might be a coyote meal. Coyotes have migrated all over the country. They are all over Tennessee. Every time an emergency vehicle comes by with the siren on we can hear them howl. They are NOT a native species and we consider them invasive. You have to be really good to kill one too. They are quite crafty. Complain all you want. If we quit killing them they will eventually overrun the whole country. The people who complain are the same ones who complain about killing deer. It is a proven fact that without hunters deer would overpopulate and starve due to the fact that they would eliminate all their food. We have removed all the natural predators so now we must be the predators.

"If we quit killing them they will eventually overrun the whole country."

And that explains the reason why Native Americans couldn't settle the land. There were nothing but coyotes here and nothing else lives.

Just pointing out a major flaw in your argument in the hopes that you don't resort to such egregious hyperbole in the future. Try stating the issue cogently, rationally and reasonably. Most cogent, rational and reasonable people will then likely agree with you.

You are quite correct. In fact the reason why coyotes have proliferated is due to excessive homeless or feral or stray cats. Coyotes eat cats - and the more these coyotes eat the more they breed. SPAY/NEUTER YOUR CATS!

I don't hunt, but I do shoot paper targets. The animal rights people should know that hunting for population control of certain species goes on every day. I don't like shooting animals at all but it's legal, even desirable if it's controlled. I wonder if some of these people would mind killing rats if they were in their houses?? I had a rat that I tried to capture humanely, but it was too smart for me so I ended up having to kill it. Do I feel bad... yeah. Would I do it again.. yeah.

I also had baby mice.....lost count at about 20 something........that I caught humanely. Walked each and every one down over hill and dale to release them where they belong....doing their mouse thing and being in the correct food chain. People are so high and mighty over the fact that they can and do kill anything and everything....such a sad that there is no feeling over the life of God's creatures.
