These kids have easy access to tools that enable simple and effective means of killing. The social issues are beyond us, the physical issues are solvable.

this artical is very misleading almost all of the information on here is wrong. first of all the male in the photo at the top with no shirt on was one of the kids who was bullying the shooter. second of all the 17 year old male who was shot had nothing to do with the bullying he is an innocent special needs child who did not deserve any of this. and last but not least the shooter is 15 year old sophmore student at the school his name is bobby gladdon this was not a spontaneous shooting friends of his said he told them 5mins before it happened that he had been planning it for 2 months and to get out of the cafeteria right away, he then walked to the bathroom located just outside the cafeteria assembled the shotgun and came back in, randomly shot off a round and hit daniel the INNOCENT special needs student. the shooter had also posted a status on facebook this morning that read "first day of school, last day of my life"

to erasmus111. It is legal to buy a gun if you are over the age
of 18 not 21.Eighteen is the age of majority. Some states made addendums to the law and dont allow the purchase of handguns;which
in my opinion is ludacris as if you are 18 or over you can kill
or be killed for this country. I wont get on my high horse but I
new 15 young men in high school who died in Vietnam and many of them were only 18.

In most states it's legal to buy a gun at any age, as long as you have a parent's consent. And that's SCARY considering how many lousy parents there are out there.

The United States has 12 times more children dying from gunshot wounds than all the industrialized nations combined. That should tell you something.

Has ANYONE even read the kids F/B page? He says "murder / suicide" and stated it was the first day of school for him and the last day of his life. Swift kid. Also says he is divorced LOL!

And another thing:

Standing ovation for the staff at that school. It sounds like they handled it perfectly. In particular, a big pat on the back for the staff member that subdued the shooter

BTW-If I'm not mistaking ALL the random shootings and killings lately have come from WHITE individuals!
==================================================================

"ALL" really? Every day we read or hear about these gang bangers (majority black or Mexican) killing people. The last few senseless killings by these WHITE people hardly adds up to the 100's every week AKA the 19 killed in Chicago over the weekend.

Welllll......if the shirtless male is not the shooter, then this is terrible journalism.
The boy on the stretcher looked like a white male with very long dark hair. I assume he is the victim, but now peeps are saying he is the shooter?????

It's really not all that unusual to see what's in the photo.
