nad, really? Do you know what radiation is? Your comments are disturbing. You called me an ugly lily in my first post without explaining why you think I am ugly. Obama has been given the authority to protect us. He is only focused on terrorist. He hasn't done enough to keep us safe in other areas of concern. Water sources are becoming poisoned along with what was an abundance of edible sea life. You don't seem to get the magnitude of what is happening and the ripple effect it will cause. If you see a bear beware. You don't wait for the bear to maul you before you try to escape. Once the bear gets a hold it will be an act of god to rescue you. The same with radiation You don't wait until all your resources have died to do something.

The levels of radioactive cesium were 10 times higher than the amount measured in tuna off the California coast in previous years. But even so, that's still far below safe-to-eat limits set by the U.S. and Japanese governments.

I love the word BUT in this what it means is disregard everything we just said we wanted filler words. That is until people get cancer then we didn't think it could happen.

nad what kind of toxins do you mean? Radiation can cause changes in your cells. This is just the begining. Hawaii is just now getting the first of plume of the toxic sea water. California will start seeing this in two years. What California is seeing now are the migrating sea life traveling through that area. Radiation stays in the body forever. How many fish can we eat before we get sick?

Spaceship Earth is the only vehicle we have, and yet we keep compromising its health recklessly. What good is it to have so much high technology if you don't have a planet live in? Is it any wonder one in three people in America gets cancer? Is electricity worth sacrificing so many human lives? All these radioactive materials will remain dangerous for thousands of years. And accidents do happen. How can humanity be so smart as to create such technology, and yet so stupid as to destroy the only place it has to live in? I think humanity would be better off if it wasn't so smart, it would probably live longer and in a cleaner environment.

what a juvenile comment. I understand why you vote Obama. You don't know anything else. Commics, Gamming, Obama.

Why did you even report this story if they're edible and harmless? Terrorist says, "Bon appetit, moron!"?

Are you saying it's only newsworthy once the levels reach what's considered to be the maximum that's safe?

Our children? If we're deemed nothing more than "costs", what makes you think anyone gives a rat about our children?
