I bet these guys were like the bumbling "nihilists" in The Big Lebowski. These FBI tactics of creating a conspiracy just so they can make high-profile busts is despicable.

Oh, yes. these five men did every thing what other Mohammed and Aslam think to do, explosive substance in hand, willingness to blow up an imporatnt bridge and so on, but still they were men, between 25 and 35 years age; individuals, anarchists and confused persons but NOT TERRORISTS.
Why because they do not look like Muslims, they do not have Muslim names and they do not have any agendas related to their human rights violations, freedom of their land from their occupiers or are fighting with their dictators.
The WAR on terroirsm will never end, unless we change the yard stick of measurement of terrorism and terrorists. Any person of any color or nationality or religion must be treated with the same rules, regulation, name calling and tried and punished with similar intensity as a criminal otherwise we are indirectly breeding the crops of terrorists providing our cool corner. Not only the security agencies should follow these norms but the media also should follow the same yard sticks.

Baxter's Facebook page says he is the leader of Occupy Cleveland--left wing, not right wing. It's not politically correct to judge without the facts

People are going to get more and more wacked out if the republican facist ideology keeps following the Ayn Rand economic model.

Some people are wacked off with a Democratic president and a Democratic Senate. Of four presidents assassinated, three were Republican and one was a Democrat.

Anarchists don't like government and it probably doesn't matter what a politician's affiliation is.

I really have to stop reading comments on the web, it always makes me sad. It's not even what people are writing but how they write it that makes me sad.

Don't get me wrong, the content of these comments could kill any optimism I have left in this 51-year-old body, also.

We should all give credit to our FBI for patiently cultivating the true terrorist potential in these disaffected youth. leave it to law enforcement to transform what was originally a misdirected political statement ala "FightClub" into something worthy of prosecution. It takes an experienced team of anti-terrorist agents to properly mold the chaos of youthful angst into a vehicle which poses an actual threat to society,,, ( O.K., it also takes a bunch of fake C4, 'cause otherwise it's just a bunch of kids with smoke bombs)

It sounds like this investigation took months, at least. But I suppose that was a small investment of taxpayer dollars when you consider the level of fear it has generated. And that type of fear is necessary if law enforcement is to secure the level of funding it would need to fight the real terrorists.

Wait. I forget. Who were the real terrorists? I know there were some someplace around here... hmmm. Certainly haven't heard much from them lately. Thank goodness the only people who seem to be able to cook up a good terrorist plot work for OUR government. 'cause it would really suck if there were actual terrorists out there.

Entrapment? Not at all. It's only entrapment if the idea (bridge bombing), the intention (encouragement), the means (C4) all come from the government. Moreover, here the accused took concrete steps toward the completion of their dastardly plan: they accepted the governments offer of C4. No normal american 20-something guy would willingly accept plastic explosives, would they?

At least the christians are trembling....
