Some say to give the teachers the benefit of the doubt. The problem with that idea is that there is no doubt involved in this case. You can't fix stupid! So fire the teachers before they make the children stupid too!

Maybe using beatings as a math question was of bad taste, but terminating teachers for that is an overreaction. Give the teachers the benefit of the doubt and investigate the case to see what was the intent.
It's incomprehensible that these teachers thought this was appropriate. Obviously they're not qualified to teach - their own degrees aren't worth the paper they're written on.

So that teachers can stand up to the idiots who designed this test and say, "No, I will NOT pass that out to my students."
