It is not a matter of "imposing Judeo-Christian values on other cultures". It is the very simple, and IMO justified, expectation that people who come to this country obey the law of the land, and maybe, just maybe, put in a little effort to give back to that country some of what that country gave them. I don't see how that is unreasonable.
