I don't hate the USA, but I DO hate unwarranted violence and hypocrisy, which for the last few years (at least) has been a feature of the USA, and many people right now on this forum. Does that include you?

Reading all this crap is why I tried so hard to talk my son out of joining the Marines. The American people don't give a darn about them at all. This country has gone to hell & I wish they'd bring the draft back instead of depending on good men & women to volunteer to love you & this country enough to fight for your sorry butts to keep freedom.

Thats is something I've been wondering about. Should never being alone be part of training. Groups of three at least at all times should be together. As for being drunk. He may not have. He could have been without sleep for a long time or sick.
And who wouldn't be scared? I think even the strongest man there is has to be afraid. No one is that strong.
As a mother of a Marine this stuff is my nightmare come to life & my son & I had many talks about it. Yes he volunteered & he seems to have faith in the guys with him & thats great, but you just never know for sure. People get stupid & let there guard down.
God bless this man & his family. I hope he gets released & I wish our government would step up & do something since thats who they work & fight for. They stand up front for the US can't the US have their back?
