We function with reasoning well superior to an animal. An animal functions more on what is instinctive. That's not to say they cannot be taught and learn. But just nowhere near the capability of humans. ----------------------- Posted by stuart2012

I totally agree, Stew!
It's probably obvious that this kid chose victims that couldn't gang up against him, and exact any form of revenge - that's why we eat most animals, except Polar Bears, of course!

I totally agree with you !! He is one sick human !!!! If he can do this to an animal, he can do it to a human. People should do some research and find that most serial killers started out torturing animals. I say torture him, maybe put him in a room full of hungry cats(and i am not talking kittens) and let them rip him to shreds.
The same should have been done to Michael Vick..
These "men" (wouldn't even consider them that) would be crying like a little baby.
My heart goes out to everyone who lost their cats to this MONSTER!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you !!
And believe me when I say....WHAT GOES AROUND-COMES AROUND!!!

You mean monitored like with an ankle bracelet or something? No way. He'll get the victum impact panel some commun ity service at an animal shelter, a fine and some probation. He won't be monitored.
Posted by stuart2012

I mean "monitored" as in keeping track of where he lives, works, visits, etc... for several years, possibly by the FBI. If something should happen in an area where he is doing those things( like unexplained murder) he will likely be brought in and questioned.

Of course the REAL red flag you are missing is: What caused this man to want to hurt animals to begin with? As someone pointed out, he not just killed them, he dismembered them ect ect. What causes anybody to want to hurt a harmless or defenseless life I cannot understand.
Posted by stuart2012

From what I have understood, it has to do with either abuse or lack of human attachment as a child. A young child that is abused or fails to attach to a caregiver runs a higher risk of "Unattached Child Syndrome" and a higher risk of violent actions. Take from that what you will, to me it is sad.

I don't know what you're on but there is no way you are going to convince me an animal has greater reasoning powers than do humans. That's just a dumb statement. ----------------------------- Posted by stuart2012

Perhaps not reasoning powers, Stew, but all mammals have a sense toward self-preservation, and this kid skewered that up for at least 19 cat mammals!
