I saw this on the news today, this is such a useless and senseless death of a guard at the Museum. All the children there for the day and I understand there was a Russian child just visiting America for the first time and she was there on that day. What a terrible thing to happen at any time, but not good for the child to remember on her visit to USA. Why was this man able to get a gun. I mean this is unreal, he was already in trouble with the law and had acted out before. I understand he was a WS, which is what, he hates white people or he hates Jews and anyone that was involved in the halocaust. This is just terrible. Condolences to the man who was making a living at his job and little did he think he would be killed by just being on the door at the museum. God bless his family.

Fred, let's bring this down to earth a bit. Not that I'm in any way making light of this terrible tragedy but if the statistics hold true, there were approximately 30 other homicides committed witha firearm today throughout the country.

Also, the Clinton administration did a study on guns and gun crime that was published back in 2,000. The report bore out the fact that the guns being sold to criminals was by only 1.2% of all the gun dealers/pawn shops.

Again, this was a terrible crime but it's hardly reached epidemic proportions.
