And they will speak again.

Cause you can't stop
The motion of the ocean
Or the rain from above
You can try to stop the paradise
We're dreaming of
But you cannot stop the rhythm
Of two hearts in love to stay
'Cause you can't stop the beat!

The truly enlightened ones are those who neither incite fear in others nor fear anyone themselves.

Never impose on others what you would not choose for yourself.

One who, while himself seeking happiness, oppresses with violence other beings who also desire happiness, will not attain happiness hereafter.

Bible passages?

Now, uh, why are people posting Bible passages?

I wonder, is there a verse empowering people to post these passages? Or maybe there are verse(s).

And which verse(s) tells who doesn't live by the verse(s)?

I have the one: ALL OF THEM.

(God told me to post this)

But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,...

Words to live by.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:
Who shall offer it before the Lord, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female.
And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.

This Christian God has issues.

Where in the Bible does it state that it's wrong for two women to engage in sexual acts with each other?
Posted by toooldtovote at 7:24 PM : Jun 3, 2009

Would it matter to you?

Mr.Man---It's going to be on the Cal. ballot again in 2010, and this time same-sex marriage will win.

Too all of you morons who are quoting the bible: You are assuming the rest of us believe your bible. Quit using your bible as a tool to try and shape laws of freedom in America. Keep your personal religious beliefs to yourself. You are not right because of your bible or your beliefs. Stop forcing your beliefs to suppress the freedom of others. This is AMERICA, not your private little circle of brainwashed church hypocrites and drama.

"You may have no choice as to your sexual orientation, but you do have a choice whether you act on that choice. God clearly tells us in the Bible that homosexuality is an abomination. One man laying with another is not right. If you are burdened with homosexuality, God wants you to bring it to Him. This is my view on the subject."

O.K. But that still does make it acceptable that a homosexual can not legally marry in most states (at least not to one of the same gender). It is still not acceptable that the same-sex "spouse" or committed partner of a homosexual is denied such benefits as employer sponsored health insurance, or be the beneficiary of a pension plan or an IRA as is now often the case.
I am not convinced that "one man lying with another" is right, either; nor am I particularly entertained by the thought. But in a fair and just society it is not supposed to be wrong, no matter what Leviticus or the apostle Paul have to say about it. Gay lifestyles are neither one nor the other; they are morally neutral. But in today's still-repressive environment, they are viewed as "wrong".
That has to change.

talcoolone----So you would argue that a gay should either be celibate or enter into a fraudulent marriage without intimacy?
