You jump against God's grace when you give him praise that a murder occured as if God delights in the death of the wicked.

I am now, but I seriously would doubt that I would have even known I was being aborted. But that is not to suggest that I am for abortion. I am not except in the case where the risk of losing life - either the baby's or the mothers - is prevelant.

This whole argument is a philosophical one. When does God say that life begins? Let's look at that from one angle.

In Gensis, there are evident "stages" to life.

1 - God thinks it - 'let's create man in our own image...'

2 - God actually creates man Now carefully note #3

3 - Then God, after man was already created, breathed into man the breath of life and THEN man became a LIVING being.

So what does that say to the issue as to when life begins?

And to answer harpcoats , The doctor was around but is not within a social circle that would have made contact. So the Meat of the issue is, IT DOES NOT AFFECT ME, now or then. Fo the first three months (when 90% of abortions occur) the fetus does not have any wherewithal for decision making. The next three months, there are, at least signs of reflex actions - moving away from a amniothesis needle for example - but no evidence of conciousness. In the last three months when the fetus has a chance of surviving outside the womb, abortion should only be used as a last resort to save the mother. The father has every right to discuss and to have input, but the decision at any point has to be the woman's. BTW I do not agree with anyone who thinks abortion's "Just another method of birth control."
