See,
If law enforcement spent more time doing their job, there wouldn't be these problems. This particular service was in operation for several years and published ads in local newspapers even. There is no big story about the newspapers running ads for prostitution.

The police have been using facebook for years tracking down criminals, why now are they "just discovering" illicit uses in Craigslist?

Another day, another prostitution bust.
I know, let's make it safer for everyone involved with the world's oldest profession -
LEGALIZE AND REGULATE PROSTITUTION!

"Today's arrests underscore the inherent risks posed by Craigslist and, most importantly, the need for protections that are full-fledged, not half-baked"

What risks?? There are only risks if you respond....and that is only a slight risk. The ones involved know that already. No one was vicitmized here. The only thing "half-baked" is thier excuses for prioritizing this.

How many Constitutional rights must be violated to enforce something as trivial as consenting adult prostitution???

Prostitution is always an easy political score for grandstanders. We should legalize it to prevent them using it as a platform.

It seems like Senator David Vitter would put a stop to this nonsense.

mrs_trepidatious As usual, you want to force your twisted beliefs on everyone else by force of law. There is no Jesus and there is no God. Get over it, or condemn yourself to a life of eternal stupidity. What if your beliefs become illegal (not a bad idea) you would be in prison forever. (another good idea)

As always, any repressive organization, church, social, or governmental, tries to regulate people's sex lives first. After you can get people agree to allow you to determine when, how, and under what conditions they may have sex, the rest is easy.

People will always want to have unrestricted sex and there will always be those willing, for a price, to supply it. What makes it impossible to regulate is that the very ones who are trying are always guilty themselves. "Quis esperos custodis custodes?"
