Not in the least, Just imagine him babysitting all of his grandkids at one time. I do that at least three times a week for eight of my grandkids.. He might have had more than a hundred. - Reply to this comment
- Who you despise is your business, and not theirs.

Its a waste to despise someone and not let them know why.. With the knowledge may come understanding that could have a benificial affect on both parties. (Or get a bloody nose). either way something is learned and the time wasn't wasted - Reply to this comment

- By the time the accused pirate comes to trial, the Obama administration will offer him an apology for denying his right to make a living and send him home with millions. They will bring to trial those who gave the order to shoot the other pirates and the shooters themselves, who will be publicly identified. They should have used other methods to subdue the pirates. Obama will go before the media to state that he authorized action but not deadly force action. The Democrats, third world nations and Europe will hail Obama as a great humanitarian.

- Yer a hero, America.. fer capturing a 16 year old kid. Congratulations..
Posted by arthur796 at 3:35 PM : Apr 21, 2009
Maybe you are right!! It might have been best for him and us if we had 'capped' him like we did the other three, Besides, he was 18 according to his family. most guys that age in his land are married (strike that) a father of four or more kids from an equal number of wives. - Reply to this comment

This poster appears to be a porno/pedophile with delusions of poetic grandeur.
"dances and songs of war babys tortured always turn me on,"
"hike naked dance dressed hike dressed dance naked porn songs,"
"the soldiet girls and soldiet boys of war"
Instead of doing run-on sentences and spamming page after page of commentary with the same stuff day after day, Just speak his/her/its piece and be done with it. I despise show-offs that attempt to confuse or mock their observers for they have neither enlightened nor informed the target audience.

- You mean you guys have already decided already to try him as a adult?

That was never in doubt once he picked up an AK47 and pirated a ship of the high seas. - Reply to this comment
- One life changes one life, changes another, etc. Teach this young man to be a diplomat, as it seems the only choice at 15 he had was made for him. Posted by Kru311...Should we apply that to criminals in prison now?
Posted by tomanyt at 2:52 PM : Apr 21, 2009
I guess Kru311 wants us to turn him into another "Ahmadamnutjob' or Bin Laden type ingrate. Someone that takes all the help we can give him and turns around to spit in our face when we stop. - Reply to this comment
- I'd think they could charge him with felony murder since his partners were killed as a result of his crimes.

- Was this smart to bring him to the US? What will it cost us?
Air flight 1,250
Legal 100,000
Prison 42,500 per a year with Health Care
Total cost if he lives till 75= $2,523,750

MONEY is the destroyer of the human race. Especially if you LOVE it.
By the way he was smiling because he has arrived in the old US of A - Reply to this comment
- Hey where did his smile go? He looked pretty happy this morning. It is amazing what a dose of reality will do. I would be interested to know what his fellow pirate's ages are. If these guys were hardened pirates and were training him then they probably convinced him that it was no big deal and nobody gets hurt. These guys aren't too smart anyways. How long did they think all these different countries were going to put up with it? Greed got them just like it did the economy. Their days are numbered.

- Our streets are littered with the human debris Kru and those of its ilk have embraced in the spirit of equanimity and being all kumbaya-ish. The social experiment hasn't worked and will never work until this type of human debris takes some personal responsibility for themselves. Our standards of living are being diminished to that of a third world country because of this type of wacko socialist idealism.

- Personally, I think we should make an example of him. Educate him. Show him what the difference between right and wrong is, through education, not incarceration. Maybe then he can return to his country with that in mind and help this kind of thing, maybe not as a whole, but for some other youngster. One life changes one life, changes another, etc. Teach this young man to be a diplomat, as it seems the only choice at 15 he had was made for him. - When special forces are involved in such an action, they should kill all the enemy without exception. This situation is ridiculous.

- I would take him in if I spoke the language. He's a child.

That child would kill you for 2 cents. But you are okay with that. - Reply to this comment
- Kru - what a bunch of hooey. You can't teach a mongrel like this anything. Oh, my ever-bleeding heart! Hey, our urban streets are full of punks and thugs who've had every chance in getting educated, being moral, acting civilized, but instead, they take a path of barbarism and savagery. This pirate is no kid, all innocent and flawed because of the corrupt mentors he's worshiped and idolized his entire life. Fifteen years old in Somali years is at least thirty or more years equivalent in a normal life. Too bad now we're going to get stuck defending him, housing him, feeding him and allowing him the privilege of living. Whatever he gets here, it'll be much better than what he had back with his homeys, except he won't have any more access to the millions he and his homeys have collected as ransom.

- Why don't we just bring all the criminals from Africa to the US for rehabilitation and an education. What the frigg is wrong with you people? We have enough trash in our own country. This pirate should have been shot a dozen times by the Special Forces. What is wrong with our military? Maybe they thought they would get some information out of him?
All you bleeding heart idiots can have this guy and criminals like him (and there are plenty in this country) move next door to you. If this would only happen! You would change your tune real quick as your quality of life went to the level of a 3rd world country.
Why should any law abiding citizen need to put up with thugs like this on their streets? - Reply to this comment
- First, what's his real age? A that young age of 15 if he is indeed 15 you're very naive. This kid may deserve a chance. Hopefully he hasn't killed. He may be able to be rehabilitated.

He can move next door to you when he is released. I would have preferred Special Forces killing him in the raid. - Reply to this comment
