The Department of Justice have said many times that most of the guns used in crimes in DC come from neighboring states with lax gun laws. Gun owners know this. They are just very desperate to score points for their beloved deadly toys!~

bocboc...the adjustement fpr population is calculated for every 100,000 people. The number of gun deaths per every 100,000 people in the US is 14.24 while Canada is merely 4.31. SEE!~ The more guns a country have the more gun-related deaths they have. Reduce the number of guns and you will reduce the number of gun-related deaths. It's a very simple formula. What we can't allow is for all these shootings to continue!~

I would be and so should you since their number of gun-related deaths is not even 200 per year while we have 30,000.

if you do the math populationwise, 30 millions vs 300 mills = 20,000. plus since we are a socialistic country, we raraly hear people got killed during a bank robbery, welfare check is pretty generous over here, plus we dont hear about people getting bankrup becouse of healthcare plus we are not surrounded by barbarians that want to take our country back.
Thats why we dont need to own gun to defend ourselves but still there plenty of illegal guns circulating in gang related shooting. Contrasting with the US isee the need for you to own guns, unless you change your culture, your politics your population.

my 2 cents LOL

I didn't say that we have NEVER had any mass shootings. But they don't happen on a daily, weekly, monthly or even yearly basis.

Now why would I do that? You're my entertainment. Actually I shouldn't say that. It isn't at all entertaining reading about mass shootings everyday. It's actually sickening. But it's like when you witness a horrible accident, sometimes you just can't look away. Know what I mean? You look at it and think, "Oh, my God! Can this really be happening?" And of course the answer is "YES". We are watching the DECAY of the good old U.S.A.

Say what? "LOL" Plenty of mass shootings where?

you would be extremely surprised but there are plenty of them in Canada, BC= british columbia, mostly by gansgters resulting in the death of by standards, there is also gang related activity in Quebec, one is of a notorious mass killer (27victims) sentenced to life , and another one that killed a cop and free to walk again.

Yes, we have had SOME shootings, but it hasn't been "plenty of MASS shootings". And there wouldn't have been those shootings if it wasn't for the shipments of GUNS coming frome YOUR country. Up until now, we haven't had that big of a problem.

You should go to "Guns in America" and see just how many MASS shootings you have had.

One more thing...this is a NEW shooting that happened TODAY!~ A man killed his wife and a police officer and wounded another!~

"A sheriff's deputy has been killed and another shot in the neck during a shootout with a man in North Carolina, authorities said Wednesday.

The Lenoir County Sheriff's Office said deputies received a call Tuesday night reporting that a man opened fired while driving a car down a wooded path near Grifton, about 75 miles southeast of Raleigh.

Deputies said the vehicle the suspect drove was registered to a woman in Craven County who has been found dead."

We can't let this keep happening without taking action. We have way too many guns in the US. It is time to follow the advise of criminologists and reduce the prevalence of guns.

davicar said "Those whacky Koreans are at it again, runnin` around, shootin` up the place, gettin` people all nervous and all. The more things change, the more they stay the same. "

Those wacky koreans? Most gun-related deaths are not caused by them. As a matter of fact, of the 30,000 gun-related deaths we have per year they cause a very tiny fraction of 1% if any. You should say "Those wacky gun owenrs are at it again"!~ That will be CORRECT!~
