This must remind folks of the movie, Brokeback Mountain, or Victor Victoria or those other theme movies. Well, if some folks are happy with this decision by a lawfully elected legislature, all is well that ends well.

I guess I was mistaken to think most gays were reasonably intelligent.
Do you really believe the founders would have accepted your lifestyle?
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holly... Try not to be stupid on a sunny day ok? Following that ignorant a$$ logic: blacks would be slaves, witches would still be a problem, women wouldn't vote, actually anyone not a land owner, I can keep going but I am running out of small words.

Texased----You are soooo ignorant on so many levels it's difficult to know where to start.
Don't blame it on his age-----I'm easily as old.Don't blame it on Texas----I was born there myself.
He would be just as dumb as a sack of rocks if he were a 20 year old Yankee.Maybe too much inbreeding.

Lets see how giving ga-ys equal "rights" promotes more baby making...After all, thats what marriage is really WAS for, right?

Nope, not unless you plan to stop letting all infertile couples (including those too old to mate) marry, too.

Pretty close-minded, there, Ed.

" Idog ", and I'm sure many with the same belief, which is, " gays are people too "' under-
stand the situation. What number of states are needed before gay marriage becomes a constitutional amendment ? The United States of America, where equality and under-
stading rule. Alright, not all the time, but our beautiful nation wasn't created in a day either.

Dont you dare to compare interracial marriage with same-sex marriage stupid. If we allow a man to marry another man next they will want to marry their dogs, cats, snakes, etc, etc.

Actually Bagdad the comparison is fair. In the states that Outlawed Interracial Marriage the Laws were all under "Crimes against Nature" Statutes similar to all of teh Anti Homosexuality laws of teh time. And The same Simpletons said that Interracial Marriage woudl be the end of the Sacred bod of Matrimony. They also said if we let races mix the next thing you know people will want to marry their dogs or toaster or.... Well you understand; you just said teh same thing. My God man try and think for yourself for a change.

_BaghdadsHere_....
Gay marriage is the same as interracial marriage and the gay civil rights movement is the same exact thing as the civil rights movement of the 60s. African Americans are born black, gay americans are born gay. Period....game over....it's a scientific fact.

_BaghdadsHere_ is just upset because he's learning that gay marriage is going to happen everywhere. It's only a matter of time. Go VT!
Marriage as a holy sacrament will be upheld because religious institutions are private. However, marriage at the civil level should be allowed as one group can not legally discriminate against another. Our constitution prohibits that....and if you don't like it.....leave! Love it or leave it, gays are people too....in the great US of A!

If it's so easy to win why only 4 states allow you perverted dirty gays to marry same sex?

Well as I said in my post below it al started for Interracial Marriage w/ 1 state. And As people realized teh intolerance and stupidity of the fight they let it go. That and a Supreme Court ruling. But like all things this has to start somewhere. And I guess that we are the 4 smarter states. BTW I live in IA.

While I realize you are either a Troll or just someome who didn;t get enough hugs as a child in either case I can see you are dying for attention. Well here is a bit of logic for you. Not everyone that supports Gay Marriage is Gay. I am staright and so is my wife of 10 years. We support Gay Marriage because we are Interracially Married and see the direct Parralles between the 2. The same weak minded religious simpletons that opposed Interracial Marriage in the late 60's are Opposing Gay Marriage now. in the 30 years since Loving v. Virginia the civilized America realized how backwards and ignorant those people were. In 30 years we will see you in the same light.

Cracked open a small bottle of champagne to celebrate Vermont's win! I'm not only toasting the wonderful folks of Vermont, but also a special toast to all those anti-g@y folks out there who are completely losing it over this wonderful news! I'd be so bored if they were not around to laugh at....
