- And as I said, Josef Stalin wanted a Godless society as well, and he still holds the record for the most innocent people slaughtered under a regime.
So you must be very proud of holding the same view that Josef Stalin, an evil, evil, evil dictator had.
You have a lot to learn, and hopefully you learn before it's too late. - Reply to this comment

Keep lying about America's heritage and revising history. Again, you'd better be prepared for a fight. You anti-Constitution liars are still a tiny minority, despite you and your pals who flood these message forums desperately seeking attention. - Reply to this comment

All I have to say is that you ANTI- CONSTITUTION traitors better be prepared for a fight. Your remarks are the EXACT OPPOSITE of our Constitution and you can be rest assured that as long as we still have free speech and freedom period in America that we will stand up against you jerks who want to destroy everything this country was founded upon.
Prepare for a fight. - Reply to this comment
- Oh Hypno. I'm sorry common sense, book learning and education are too hard so that you have to turn to magical thinking, but your magical thinking is just for you.

You'd better stop spending US money and you'd better call for every President in US history to refute his statement of "So help me God" while swearing in the oath of office, and you also better ask for every single president in US history to take back his oath while putting their hands on the Bible, as well.
This is One Nation Under God, not one nation under nothing. And until you destroy our Constitution and throw our Declaration of Independence in the garbage (which is exactly what you wish would occur), you can just sit back and deal with it.

No one is forcing you to convert to any "Religion". This is just a classic "play the victim role" tactic that non-believers use in our society. I've seen this tactic used so many times I've lost count.
You may be able to escape "religion" while you live your life on this earth, but you won't be able to avoid the Great White Throne Judgment seat of Christ when it's all said and done. That you can be assured of. - Reply to this comment

When you remove the Absolute Morals and Principles given to us by God Almighty, you're asking for chaos and disorder in a culture, which is exactly why the USA is in so much turmoil right now, because instead of putting God at the top where He belongs, He has been thrown under the bridge by secularists politicians and our society continues to get worse and worse because of this.
Remove God - You get chaos and disorder, and lawlessness. This is what has been happening to our country the past few decades.
Josef Stalin wanted a society of Godlessness too, so I hope you enjoy that sort of company - Reply to this comment

-Ever heard of love the sinner, hate the sin?
Evidently you haven't.
Do you think God would approve of America continuing to push Sodomy into our culture and destroy His Holy Sanctity of marriage between man and woman that He Himself created in the Garden of Eden when He made Eve for Adam?
If you think God approves of Sodomy, I highly suggest you read His Word more.
To love the LORD is to obey Him, and part of obeying Him is telling others what His Word says about sin, whether it hurts their feelings or not.
We're not here as Christians to please people. We are here to please the LORD, as He is our Heavenly father.
The Bible says that it is impossible to live a Godly life in Christ Jesus without persecution.
in other words, if you stand up for the Truth, and you are not ashamed, prepare to be slandered, ridiculed, and attacked.
Do not be ashamed. The LORD is the Truth. John 14:6 - Reply to this comment

-No, "religion" hasn't taught us this. GOD HAS.
And it's quite obvious as ALL of us have sinned at some point in our lives, even if it's just a little white lie. - Reply to this comment
- Yeeeeeeaah! More legalized Sodomite marriage! The push for a completely Godless society in America continues!

Godlessness in the Last Days
1But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God? 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. - Reply to this comment

God is LOVE...not hate.
Now...I am come to serve the least, the last, the lost. My mission is to bind up the wounds and help heal the broken hearts. I live the life of Jesus Christ and my life and it's actions are my testimony. It is by what i DO...NOT by what I say that is best testimony to a clean christian life.
The Bible I read says that same sex acts are wrong. This applies only to me and others may do with this what they will. I absolutly will not judge persons or the family with or without kids who happen to be the same sex as the other. As I see it, it's none of my business in the public sphere or by the laws of the land.
However, it is wrong for ME to marry another of my own kind. Or to marry another of my own kind.
Also, the Church, seperate from the secular may not and do not have to honor any same sex maraige of any kind for whatever reasons. If the scriptures we are reading and adhering to says it is wrong than we have no choice but to comply...without judgement.
These same individuals who would come into the churches that prohibit it's members from being in a same sex marraige will be denied membership and will be discouraged from participating in any church function that has anything to do with holy matrimony.
They are all free to attend, free to hear the messages, free to pray and worship but are advised that physical acts of clearly divisive behavior won't be tolerated and they'll be asked to leave, forthwith.
The line has to be drawn somewhere and it ought to be right there inside our churchs and places of worship around kids and women and differant sex couples in marraige etc.
I believe we can co-exist as long as we try not and overcome and smother the other one out.

- Religion has taught us that we are "born in sin" and that we will be "sinners" unless we are "saved" ... in other words, until we meet the moral requirements of those who think their "opinions" about life should be followed by others. We have even been taught that Jesus went on the cross to "die for our sins" ... all the while, hate and ignorance prevailed throughout the ages. It is not easy to love others who are different than we are when we live with a low-level of hate for ourselves, thanks to religion. But, if we truly look within our mind, rather than rely on our knee-jerk emotional reactions, we can find it within ourselves to love everybody. Even those who persecute us and hate us ... the Master Mind Jesus said. But, first, we must want to. Here we are in the midst of the observances of Palm Sunday, Passover, Good Friday and Easter ... and yet these blogs are filled with hate and vile language directed at people who only want to have their relationships recognized as equal to and just as valued as others. How little we have learned from the man whose life we celebrate this Holy Week.

- "The House recorded a dramatic 100-49 vote ? the minimum needed ? to override Gov. Jim Douglas' veto. Its vote followed a much easier override vote in the Senate, which rebuffed the Republican governor with a vote of 23-5."
The GOP is getting its' just desserts finally. Perhaps the extremists among them will shut up now, and we won't have to be bothered with their intolerance anymore. If they have any brains left, they should now take back their party from the ex-Dixiecrats. - Reply to this comment
- ".. Just where do we take a stand for moral right, not politically correct." Posted by edward1975-2009
Answer, you don't. As long as no harm is done to others, and consent by all parties exists, it is none of your business what makes others happy.
In fact you have no "moral right", as I remember you supported the non mutually consensual invasion of other countries, and the murder of innocent civilians. - Reply to this comment
- Another state that caved in to a fringe group. A state that decided it had no problem sliding down the moral ladder. We have seen in Europe where incest is now being accepted when both parties are consenual, what next, where do we draw the line and say No. Where do we say that sometimes what makes a person happy, just isn't right. That we have set a certain degree of morality for our society and that we need to adhere to this. Just where do we take a stand for moral right, not politically correct.

'Glaad' to see that Vermont has joined the number of states that feel that the Bill of Rights belongs to ALL citizens of our great country. Iowa (Iowa?!) will be next.
For those of you, like my cousin, that have been in long-term relationships for more than 2 decades, I am happy to see that you will now have the same rights under the law in Vermont that straight couples have.
