Comments on: Poll: Rise In Americans With No Religion
15 Percent Do Not Identify With A Faith; Catholics Remain Largest Religious Group
- Would you believe in God if His existence could be proven beyond doubt? or would you stick to your guns just so that you can live anyway you want? Deep in the concience of many atheists the belief of God is there, but is easier to do what is contrary to God's will.
So DECIDING not to believe in God is an option so that makes atheists feel confortable, have you ever question your position? or you are just reasoning to justify your position but truth is of no importance because you just want to be at peace with yourself? - Reply to this comment

- God did not create religion - Man did!!
Attempting to civilize is a good thing, but religion was not required to do it. - Reply to this comment
- "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." Galatians 6:7
.................................................
"Blessed is the man who
- Walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
- Nor stands in the path of sinners,
- Nor sits in the seat of the scornful [mockers];
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night." Psalm 1:1-2 - Reply to this comment
- Oh so you agree then that Christianity is a mental disease and the extreme right-wing loons are sick?

Nope, because Christianity is about loving God, because He Loved us first and proved His love for us on the cross and by rising from the grave.
you're just mad because you don't have a belief in anything and the only way you can fill that void is to attack others that have a firm foundational faith in their lives (mainly Christians).
Again, will you stop trying to convince children that there is no God? If you can do that, we'll stop standing up for Christ, the Truth. (actually we'll never stop standing up for Him, even if you atheists do manage to "silence" us legally) - Reply to this comment
- Christ's greatest teaching addressed the greatest force in the universe. The name of that force is Love. So why is it that Republican's give voice to the greatest negative force? That force is called Hate.

- I know you want us Christians to just "shut up", but like I said, we'll make you a deal, if you shut up about your belief that there is no God and you stop pushing this belief into the minds of innocent children, then we'll stop talking about Christ.
Can you handle that?
Yes or no

You're full of it. Your lot will never shut up. You will always be pushing your beliefs on those that don't share them. You even use laywers to do it if necessary. Isn't lying a sin?
Fortunately, the archaic vestiges of a once great religion are showing cracks in its foundation. Your message has been diluted by the "good christian folk" like Ted Haggard, etc.: preaching and judging others without a shred of humility or mercy while he partook in his own.. ahem.. digressions. Rush Limbaugh is another "good Christian" - a fat, glutonous, hypocrite drug addict who wallows in millions of dollars made by judging without out even a hint of honesty or christian mercy. One would think that such offensive hypocrisy would humble some of you but no such luck. - Reply to this comment
- the differnce between the "born-agains" and U.S. is that we do tolerate you but we have now witnessed what can happen when a right-wingnut born-again Christian becomes President of the United States!

- How's about worrying about your own life, and your own salvation, instead of walking through life pointing the finger at others.....
