Whilst the term "sport" is the average participants secondary motive, and "money" their primary motive, it is a very satisfactory situation for the participants and the so called sport''s promoters to screw the public.

Exactly what is the point of testing atheletes, if the results take 6 years to be disclosed?

I can''t understand how this game survives. Gone are the days of Mantle, Mays and Aaron. This sport has fallen into an abyss with poor leadership. Long live Football.

Used to be a BIG b-ball fan; Haven''t been to a game since the last strike; That plus the drug misuse coupled with Rafael Palmeiro''s involvement, MLB''s weak drug stance along with a laughable commissioner will ensure that I will not attend any time soon; Incredible that these guys do not get busted. Anyone who supports MLB is a knucklehead.

Any sports figure who has tested positive for steroids, regardless of the sport, should immediately be fired and barred for life from every playing again. They should also lose any records, honors or awards because more than likely they obtained these with the use of this substance. Disgusting!

R.I.P., Major League Baseball, you dug your own grave with nothing but selfishness and greed.

Your game now has about as much integrity as pro wrestling.

We are all surprised when Texas got rid of him..... now we know.

The good news is he did not "make a mistake" with his taxes.

Let''s see: Michael Phelps got skewered for smoking pot at a party, a substance shown NOT to enhance performance and NOT banned by his sport. This is a guy who worked hard to be a the top of his game.

On the other hand, over and over we see MLB players getting a pass for using a banned sustance. Overpaid "athletes" playing a ridiculous number of games each year just to rake in the exorbitant ticket fees and to add to their "stats".

The American people truly are suckers.

Scamming the system for $275 million! Way to go, A-Rod!
Players tested today will be exposed in 2015. BFD.
