personaly I''ll stay poor at b-ball and not use steroids and keep the family jewels the same size and not have them shrink to bb''s and not work right the home runs I care about require a lady not a stick and ball, but on the other hand I like most of the population am getting so sick of this yellow dirty laundry journalism to be honest I don''t care if grown men want tiny jewels to make some extra cash, face it most folks are loosing interest in pro sports most folks into it are gamblers little boys that never grew up...

is anyone really suprised !? all sports players are dope heads ! none of them know how to play without it. they simply should have two catagories for records. those dope heads of today and those of yesteryear. the''re the biggest hypocrits too. telling the world drugs are bad for you then doing more than most. they should cut there pay to 30k a year, then they wouldn''t be able to afford it. that would be a sure way to clean up the sports. besides, yankees are all *** anyways !!! always have been, always will be !!

Is anyone really surprised?

With all that money staring him in the face, what do you expect him to do? What would anyone else do?

Babe Ruth was buzzed on alcohol at least several times at the ballpark when he hit 700+ home runs! I shot a par 36 on the front nine holes once at an extremely difficult bayou golf course in the southeast Texas swamp, high on cocaine. Fact is, Babe Ruth hit over 700 home runs, and I scored par on the front nine once on a brutal golf course. None of you can ever take that away from either one of us.

I am so sick of athletes, actors, senators, presidents, and anyone else in the public eye using drugs, cheating on income taxes, cheating on their spouses, procuring gay *** (these are the things that have come to light), and any other subversive behavior that would land any of us common people in the slammer....Enough is enough!!!!!! What the hell is this country coming to????

This is nothing new. Selfishness, evil, pride, lust, greed, ect. is all in the human heart. We are born into sin. The people who hate God and the Bible will get their way. They don''t want to hear about God''s love or forgiveness because they see all those same things in many Christians lives so they think how are they any different. They are not any different. I''m a Christian and still sometimes struggle with these issues myself. Real court will be in heaven. Real justice will not be done here, at least not yet. We have to get over it and let God be the judge. I feel your pain. Your anger is healthy. Read Romans Chpter 1

Swin5...what are you trying to get a job with MLB? Baseball is the most BORING sport out there. I''m sure there are 500 million Indians who would say cricket is far superior to baseball. It just goes to show ya...its all in the eye of the beholder. But that isn''t what bothers me so much. It''s the egotistical, entitlement most MLB players possess that turns me off. I''ll never support these overpaid ''actor/athletes'' who turn down $25 million for 1 year. But you go ahead...I''m sure these all these idols of yours will extend their hand with gratitude while they turn around and walk away with a big smile on their face whispering "sucker".

"With due respect to football fans, baseball is by far the most intricate, athletic, cerebral, and fantastic game ever invented." - Swin5

Same could be said for soccer, as well as other sports.

Shocked??? No way!!! All these superstars today couldn''t hack it against guys like Hank Aaron, Roger Maris, Willie Mays, Hank Greenburg, Joe DiMaggio, Ernie Banks etc, The REAL all-time HomeRun King is still Hank Aaron. The skinny kid who went by the name of Roger Maris is still the single season record holder for homeruns at 61. The recent steroid induced records should be asterisked.

With due respect to football fans, baseball is by far the most intricate, athletic, cerebral, and fantastic game ever invented. However, for me as a Pittsburgher, the 1979 World Series was a turning point. Sure there were some rumblings under the surface about Willie Stargell and Dave Parker, but that world series was won by the scrappy play of Phil Garner, the inspired play of Tim Foli and Bert Blyeven, and the heroics of Kent Tukulve - remember him, 6''4" and about 135 lbs. - definitely not on steroids. Since then I couldn''t care less - baseball became a game of overpaid babies and junkies. And for a sport that so much cherished its history and traditions to just totally ruin those traditions was unforgiveable. Baseball ended around 1979-1980. High prices turned away the younger fan, lack of ethics turned away the older fan and what now is left? In the film ''Field Of Dreams'' James Earl Jones said ''There will always be baseball'' but what is really true is that there SHOULD always be baseball. But in the hands of immoral players and owners we are close to losing the game that spoke so much of our culture, our heritage, and our values. We''ve replaced as our national pastime an intricate and artistic sport with one where men are just bashing their heads and bodies against each other. I, for one, mourn the loss.

From the article:
"the survey testing that took place in 2003 was intended to be non-disciplinary and anonymous"

Love that statement, it gives them an "out".

So this donkey face uses sterioids?

Slogan goes from:

"Got milk?"

to:

"Got ''roids"
