criminalize, normal teenage behavior?

Posted by tomanyt

Criminal law has been in effect before these particular teens (or even their parents) were born. Being $luts at age 14 shouldnt be considered ''normal teenage behavior'' and prosecution may help the other kids not feel so pressured into thinking it is ''normal''.

The next legal step will be removing mirrors from school locker rooms so kids cannot see themselves.

OH ya, its bad. He wasnt even arrested for this until one year after HE broke off the "relationship". (he did this when the mom of this girl came to him and told him her true age) By that time, he had met a wonderful girl, was engaged to be married last July and had a son on the way. He has spent that past year fighting the laws which are NOT favorable for teenagers talking on cell phones and will spend the rest of his life fighting this. ITs not fair...at all.

Why is anyone shocked by this? Kids are bombarded with *** anymore--television, music, movies, magazines. Name one sitcom that isn''t full of either sexual innuendos or blatant references to ***. I don''t think we need go back to the Lucy and Ricky and twin bed days but I quit watching sitcoms when George Lopez mad a comment about prostituting his daugher.

Things sure have changed since I was a teenager...and it''s not just the technology. If these kids think that the pictures are going to stay just between them and whomever they sent them to, they are in for a big surprise.
Should they be charged with possession of child pornography? Probably not, but there shoud be some sort of legal consequences.

Why, who cares? They are people, they were probably dating, who cares if a couple sends each other naked pictures? Why is it your business anyway?

That''s rediculous. She definatly should have gotten into trouble too. Thats how bad the double standard in America is when it comes to how criminal sexual behavior is seen in men and women.
