- Could any of you imagine what it would have been like for these mob families if C.S.I. had appeared 35 or 40 years ago?? These people got away with these ghastly crimes because the technology to track them down just simply didn''t exist. They also seemed to follow one philosophy very strictly - watch your loose ends very closely!! Attention to detail seemed important to the mob - put out a contract, wack a guy, then wack the wacker. Sometimes, even a guy who was made could get wacked if he got too irrational or risked talking to authorities.
The mob for all intensive purposes though was not an organization of murderers, but of businessmen who wanted to earn their keep however they saw fit. They did want intrusion from the government or local authorities, and by offering protection to people in exchange for being left alone, people were allowed to live - until you crossed them.

- used to kinda look up to mobsters now they squeal like jr. high girls and wear bad cloths, nobody thought he would give the guy a medal now a murderer will get a few years and walk we got the most corupt sorry legal system.

- The Gotti boy ran out between parked cars into the street. The accident was unavoidable according to police. On the advice of his attorney the neighbor did not approach the Gotti family to apologize. Gotti took that as unfeeling and ordered the hit. Too bad the attorney didn''t advise leaving town.
