A privately owned establishment is another matter, but any airport built and maintained with taxpayer dollars, and subject to the rules of the Dept. of Transportation is public property, and the public does have rights that you seem to wish to deny them.

At any rate, it is funny that you choose this excuse to justify an act of sheer stupidity by those who are so nosy that they would listen to the conversation of others, and so uneducated and paranoid that they would misinterpret what they hear, panic, and react to their own stupidity by visiting upon others treatment they would not accept themselves. There is no excuse for it whatsoever.

As for your assertion that Muslims are the only terrorists in the world, what the US has visited upon Iraq and Afghanistan, not to mention countries from Vietnam to Grenada, to Somalia, to Iran, is nothing more than US state-sponsored terrorism, your wish to limit the definition to the actions of those you fear, while ignoring the exact same actions by those you defend, is simply semantic nonsense.

Some of you are under the mistaken impression that you have "rights" that you actually don''t have.
Do you have a "right" to be in an airport? No.
Do you have a "right" to go thru airport security unimpeded? No. Do you have a "right" to board a commercial aircraft? No.
Do you have a right to shop in any public store? No.
Rather than rights, all of these are privileges extended to those that deserve to be customers. All vendors can extend or remove this privilege to ANYONE, simply because they choose to.
