Here''s a solution. Given that oil-rich Muslim countries are moving heaven and earth to promote the cause of Islam and to make things as easy for Muslims in the West, making sure they can conduct their Muslim lives and establish themselves permanently deep behind what Muslims themselves are taught to consider enemy lines, the Dar al-Harb, should it be beyond the wit and pocketbook of these fabulously rich Arabs to pay for a worldwide Air Islam? If they won%u2019t pay for a regular airline, they could at least spring for a collection of charters that will be for Muslims only, and on which only halal food will be served, and there will be no need to have any undue contact with Infidels -- that toilet-seat, those faucets the "unclean" hands of "najis" Infidels have touched (if you are a Shi''a Muslim, anyway). The rich Arabs should simply have a fleet of planes, modest at first, and supplemented by planes that can be chartered -- small or large. This will be that Air Islam.

That should satisfy everyone.

Or have I missed something?

ms1-1-1, if they do sue, it will be because of Jihadist terrorist sympathizers like you.
You''re just an unemployed loser looking for a free buck; in a perfect America you would be on the next 1-way flight out of the country.

It is irrational, it is absurd, to expect ordinary people, with the ordinary apprehensions about flying, not to be worried, and not, if they overhear discussions by easily identifiable Muslims of the placement of engines and the safest place to sit, and other matters pertaining to airline safety, not to be alarmed. Flying is never easy. We already endure the nightmare of increased security, and the billions of man-hours now lost in arriving an extra hour or two early for every flight, man-hours that are directly attributable to Muslim plots, successful in some cases, unsuccessful in others.

Need one recall those three planes hijacked on 9/11/2001, two hitting the World Trade Center, one hitting the Pentagon, and a fourth sent plunging into a field in Pennsylvania, killing all aboard? Are we to forget all of the planes exploded in midair, such as that TWA plane near Athens, that the PLO took care of, or the Pan Am plane exploding over Lockerbie, or the Egyptian plane brought down by the co-pilot having his Sudden Jihad Syndrome, or all the other planes blown up, or seized (think of that Air France plane that ended up in Entebbe)? Are we to forget the plot that almost came off, to explode six or eight or ten planes over the Pacific simultaneously? What are we expected to overlook?

You people are pathetic, paranoid nuts. Do you really think that this kind of juvenile behavior does anyone any good? You watch too many stupid shows, and have lost morality by drinking the kool-aid of Rush Limbaugh and his racist ilk.

Ideology fuels our enemies armies, and this kind of BS from racist rednecks who think traveling is going to disney land, is nothing more than a recruiting tool for our enemies. You are un-American.

And please, by-all means, start your adolescent "liberal this, liberal that" claptrap that you repeat from Rush''s daily klan gathering. Thats right. Go ahead and blame it somewhere else to make yourselves feel better. You know, deep down, that through years of propping up corrupt dictators, and forcing our agenda on the populations of these Muslim countries has caused this mess. But, accountability is not an American value as you continue to prove.

Even with the economy, and Katrina, you all say it is Bill Clinton''s faulty. You act like children. Now, go down to walmart, get ur guns, and stop by McD''s and get a happy meal.

Until Americans like yourselves get

longtree,
I''m flying next month and will dicuss this in the queue. I hope their lawsuit pans out too as these were both lawyers with lots of lawyer friends. The public information on profiling, air marshals etc. that would have to be released will be pricless to terroritsts if there were any around here.
______

aside from the specific issue, it is amazing that a family of nine would travel on the same plane. if it were to crash the whole family would be wiped out. best to fly in two planes, split the family, so if one does crash there are family members still around for the future. the same applies to commanding officers, business executives, etc., split the party onto two separate flights.

"... It just so happened these people were of Muslim faith and appearance..."

Muslim appearance? Muhammad Ali is Muslim, Elfa''''s Jazz and Pop choir (4-time world champions in the international Choir Games) Yusef Lateef, Queen Noor, Malcolm X, and many more I could mention, are Muslim, but do not fit an "appearance profile", such a concept is so retarded that it is almost funny that someone is being paid big bucks to be so stupid as to make such remarks to the press.

I don''t know. For years I was pretty good at pointing out the WASPs in the streets of the city. Do you know what a White Anglo Saxon Protestant looks like? You can be White but not Anglo Saxon, or a Protestant, but neither White, nor even Anglo Saxon. It would be very hard to be an Anglo Saxon and not be White though; I think impossible.

When I was in the middle east, we were expected by the host nations to NOT even speak about religion, and certainly not mention Jesus.

massive lawsuits, hopefully business-ending for this airline, and disciplinary action for the air marshals involved in this error is needed. It needs to be clear that this mistreatment of American citizens will not be tolerated and there will be consequences.

Next time passengers should stand up and prevent the air marshals from interfering or demand that the airline hold the flight until the passengers are returned.

AlanW1077 lets round ''em all up into internment camps just like the ***, maybe you can send them to gito (out of site out of mind).

there comments on the plane were in no way a threat and as far as one of them being irrate at the counter, that person had EVERY reason to be mad as he11. if they were white this never would have been reported let alone passengers kicked off.
The airlines refunds and other offers to those passengers while saying it did nothing wrong (only following federal rules) is absolutely absurd. if what they (the airlines) said/did was right then why all the offers to make it right???

I hope they do sue, the airlines have a responsibilty to their customers based on FACTS and not racial or religous profiles.

"At the end of the day, people got on and made comments they shouldn''t have made on the airplane, and other people heard them,"

Since when has the phrase ''Wow, the jets are right next to my window.''" been forbidden to be spoken on a plane?

"..."Other people heard them, misconstrued them. It just so happened these people were of Muslim faith and appearance..."

Which only illustrated the stupidity, ignorance, and lingering effect of the Bush war drum brainwashing of the other passengers, those who were denied service did absolutely nothing wrong, and it is funny that the airline continues to try to assert that they did.

I hope massive lawsuits do come out of this, to teach other service providers that continuing to slander those not at fault, in an attempt to maintain a veneer of virtue for themselves, will be hazardous to their economic health.
