Meter Reader Called Police 3 Times To Search Wooded Area Where Child's Skull Was Found
- Did not know that. Intersting twist. How many people was she really, "involved" with??? She may have traded that baby for drugs. who knows.

I bet she was working as a "call girl". That''s what all those escort searches on her computer are about. - Reply to this comment
- You know, this is all very interesting. I don''''t know if you guys remember that at the beginning of this case, a deputy was fired for not disclosing his "relationship" with casey. I wonder if that was the deputy that went to the site? Hmmm. Interesting.

- It`s hard to say how any mother would react, or what she would say, after seeing her kid killed by a meter-reader.

- Funny doesn`t begin to describe this case!
How many meters does a utility install in remote wooded areas anyway?

It wasn''t that remote. It is behind a school and I believe the meter readers story was that he went in those woods to relieve himself. I think he should get a ticket for peeing in public. - Reply to this comment
- I wanna know why the tippster waited so long in between. I feel he may have had a part in it. You don''t call 3 days ina row and not call back, and then all of a sudden be the one who finds "her". I feel the police are not looking into all they need to look into.

"The Meter-Reader probably threatened poor Casey, if she said anything. Psycho killers have a way of intimidating their victims, it`s not that uncommon."-Posted by DaVicar3
That theory may have carried more weight if Casey hadn''t been caught partying night after night, or shopping with stolen money acting as though she hadn''t a care in the world during this entire ordeal. The public who never met little Caylee showed more concern than her own mother ever did.- Reply to this comment
- Remember the Ramsey case...everyone swore it was the parents and now DNA has cleared them of the crime...let''s not automatically assume it was the mother.

- Vicar, I''m talking about the mother. Not the meter reader.

If the meter reader killes her then why did the mother say that a baby sitter took the kid? - Reply to this comment
- DaVicar3 are you the meter reader and the killer?

- fedupman ----- maybe...just maybe you should write about the subject at hand. The loss of innocent child is what is pertinent here.....not your self absorbed subject of the autoworkers bail out.

- If Casey Anthony is so innocent, why did it take a month for Calee''s disappearance to be reported? And her disappearance wasn''t even reported by Casey, it was reported by her mother. Casey was out partying and doing drugs between the time of Calee''s disapearance and the time she was reported missing. I think it is despicable that now, the story is being spun so that it is the meter reader''s fault. Just wait, next time a meter reader discovers something questionable, he/she won''t report it; they will know they will be blamed.

- Three calls made in August. By my count, that would be four months ago. So much time, so much evidence gone. What a complete shame. Totally inexcusable, especially when the authorities knew there was a missing toddler.
Poor little child. Her whole life the culmination of tragic and stupid mistakes by ALL of the adults around her she should have been able to count on most. Her death seems to be little better. - Reply to this comment
- Might there be a relationship between Casey and the meter reader?

- She killed that little girl for no reason. Break her neck and bury her in the ground ans see how she likes it. anyone that hurts a child should get life without parole!!!

- The meter reader first called the sheriff''s office on Aug. 11 to report a bag on the side of the road. A deputy responded but didn''t find anything and was unable to locate the meter reader. The meter reader called a crime hot line the following day and the information was passed on to the sheriff''s office criminal investigation division.
On Aug. 13, the meter reader called the sheriff''s office a third time. This time, the meter reader met a deputy and the area was cleared as a place of interest a short time later.
***** I hope they''re already searching and sifting through this meter-readers'' home before all the evidence they need is destroyed. - Reply to this comment
- Give me a break, now they are suspecting a tipster. Just anything to deflect the blame off the lying ____ of a mother that poor little Caylee had to be born to. Too late now to wish the grandparents had kicked Casey out and kept the darling little girl.

Typical defense attourney tactic. If you can create other viable suspects then that may create some reasonable doubt in jury. Remember jurys are generally easily manipulated when it comes to mudrer cases. Look at the O.J. murder trial. Any one with common sense knows he is guilty bit the jury let him off. - Reply to this comment
